Započeli smo naš zoom meeting zatvaranja IV Međunarodnog umjetničkog online festivala "Grad" obracanjem Ibrahima Spahica, Direktora Festivala i uz muziku : Betty Clain i Marina Tosic pjevaju "una noche" bosansku sefardsku pjesmu. "Stand Mater" i "Faust" koje je na scenu NPS postavio Edward Clug.
Autorski tim i saradnike predstave čine: dirigentica Aida Jažić, kostimograf i scenograf predstave “Stabat Mater” (G.B. Pergolesi) Jordi Roig, asistent koreografa Gay Žmavc, kostimograf “Fauna” Amna Kunovac Zekić, solisti i ansambl Baleta NPS, solisti i članovi hora Opere NPS i Sarajevska fiharmonija.
"Stabat Mater" jedno je od najslavnijih Pergolesijevih sakralnih djela komponovano 1736. godine u posljednjim sedmicama kompozitorovog života, u franjevačkom samostanu u Pozzuoliju. Balet Narodnog pozorišta Sarajevo u maju ove godine obiljezio je 70 godina postojanja. Hvala NPS na ucescu i ove godine u programu Fesitvala "Grad”.

-Alija Kučukalić (Sarajevo, Bosna i Hercegovina, 22. april 1937 - Sarajevo, 23. juni 1992.) bosanskohercegovački kipar, jedinstveni umjetnik i svestrani kulturni djelatnik koji je svojom ličnošću, umjetničkim stvaralaštvom i pedagoškim radom na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti u Sarajevu, ostvario suštinski značaj na razvoj bosanskohercegovačke kulturno-umjetničke sredine i zadužio je svojim izuzetnim umjetničkim, prije svega skulptorskim djelima. Bio je jedan od osnivača Akademije likovnih umjetnosti u Sarajevu na kojoj je izabran u zvanje docenta 1972. godine na predmetu kiparstvo koji je u zvanju redovnog profesora predavao do smrti. Bio je prodekan, šef Odsjeka za kiparstvo, šef Kolegija za postdiplomski studij i predsjednik Umjetničkog savjeta ULUBiH-a.Umjetničko djelo Alije Kučukalića prezentirano je publici od 1967. do 1992. godine na mnogobrojnim izložbama umjetničkih galerija i muzeja u zemlji i inostranstvu. Samo za svoj skulptorski rad dobio je preko dvadeset nacionalnih, jugoslovenskih i međunarodnih nagrada, a dobitnik je i značajnih društvenih priznanja.
Bio je zaslužan kipar za značajna djela i ostvarenja koja predstavljaju doprinos razvitku Bosne i Hercegovine, dobitnik Dvadesetsedmojulske nagrade SRBiH” i “Šestoaprilske nagrade Grada Sarajeva”, obje za vajarska djela i afirmaciju bosanskohercegovačkog kiparstava. Nagrada Akademije likovinih umjetnosti u Sarajevu nosi ime Alije Kučukalića, u znak sjećanja na velikog kipara i profesora Kiparstva koji je ubijen u opsadi Sarajeva 1992. godine.

-Alija Kučukalić (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, April 22, 1937 - Sarajevo, June 23, 1992) a Bosnian sculptor, a unique artist and a versatile cultural worker who with his own personality, artistic creation and pedagogical work at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, has achieved essential importance for the development of Bosnian cultural and artistic environment and entrusted with his exceptional artistic, primarily sculptural works. He was one of the founders of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, where he was elected assistant professor in 1972 in the subject of sculpture, which taught as a full profesor till death. He was vice-dean, head of the Department of Sculpture, head of the College of Postgraduate Studies and President of the Art Council of ULUBiH. The artwork of Alija Kučukalić was presented to audience from 1967 to 1992 at numerous exhibitions of art galleries and museums in country and abroad. For his sculptural work he received over twenty national, Yugoslav and international awards, and is the winner of significant social recognitions. He was a sculptor credited for significant works and accomplishments that contribute to development of Bosnia and Herzegovina, winner of the "27 July Award" of SRBiH and the “Sixth of April ”awards of the City of Sarajevo, both for sculptural works and affirmation of Bosnia and Herzegovina sculpture. The award of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo is named "Alija Kučukalić", in sign of remembrance of the great sculptor and professor of Sculpture killed in the siege of Sarajevo in 1992.

IV International online Art Festival "Grad" - Promo video

Tonight at 7:00 pm, through our page, we will have the opportunity to watch the ballet performance "Stabat Mater" and "Faun" staged by Edward Clug performed in the National Theater Sarajevo.
The author's team and associates of the cast are: director Aida Jažić, costume designer and set designer of the play "Stabat Mater" (GB Pergolesi) Jordi Roig, assistant choreographer Gay Žmavc, costume designer "Fauna" Amna Kunovac Zekić, soloists and ensemble of the NPS Ballet, soloists and members of the Opera Choir NPS and Sarajevo Philharmonic.
"Stabat Mater" is one of Pergolesi's most famous sacral compositions composed in 1736 in the last weeks of the composer's life, in the Franciscan monastery in Pozzuoli.
The Ballet of the National Theater Sarajevo in May this year marked 70 years of existence. Thank you NPS for participating in the "Grad" Festival program this year as well.

"LA MAR D'IL.LUSTRADES" A SELECTION OF FEMALE ARTISTS AND ILLUSTRATORS FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN

Coinciding with the designation of Valencia (Spain) as the World Capital of Design for 2022, the International Festival Mostra Viva del Mediterrani, sponsored and coorganized by the Mediterranean Citizens’ Assembly Foundation (FACM), presented in its 2019 edition the exhibition “La Mar d’I.lustrades” which shows the work of a selection of 18 female illustrators and visual artists from 18 countries on the Mediterranean basin.

The Illustrators and artists present their work through various styles and profiles, but in the group, common elements can be discovered when it comes to understanding the visual identity of the Mediterranean culture, this time through the women’s gaze.

This exhibition, which is integrated into Mostra Viva del Mediterrani Festival 2019 Edition as part of Pont del Mediterrani Award for Valencia World Capital of Design 2022, is presented at the 2020 Sarajevo International Winter Festival, in the sign of the Sarajevo Olympics of Culture 2021, and now it is presented worldwide through this video and the collaborative ARTISTIC platform RAVMED.

About the Sarajevo Winter Festival

International Sarajevo Festival “Sarajevo Winter” is traditional crossroad where the artists and citizens of the World meet. The festival was held for the first time from December 21st 1984 to April 6th 1985. For the 36 years of existence, the Festival became inseparable part of the Sarajevo city and citizens lives.

During 1407 festival days, Sarajevo Winter had 4,125 programmes with more than 3.500.000 visitors and 43,000 participants. Festival “Sarajevo Winter” kept rolling during all upcoming years, without a break and it became a symbol of life, freedom, creativity and it became a meeting point of diverse and different cultures and civilizations of the World.

Together with the International Peace Centre (IPC), festival ‘Sarajevo Winter’ was the organizer and initiator of project “Sarajevo, Cultural Centre of Europe”, from 21 December 1993 until 21 March 1994. (period between two cultural centres of Europe, Antwerpen, ’93 and Lisbon ’94). This idea was supported by Sarajevo City Assembly and 11 000 the most famous people from all the World, as well by the most important institutions of Europe and Avignone Festival. During that period IPC and Sarajevo Winter organized in more than 100 cities exhibitions, concerts and debates on all continents. Of special importance is organization of 60 international fairs in Europe, Asia and Africa, promotion of Graphic Map and top quality Bosnian and Herzegovinian literature and art. IPC and Sarajevo Winter organized X biennial of young artists of the Mediterranean and Europe 2001 in Sarajevo and they chair the BJCEm from 2001 until 2007. During 12 biennial BJCEM IPC and Sarajevo Winter represented over 500 young artists of B&H.

IPC and Sarajevo Winter renewed initiative for Sarajevo to be declared for the capital of Europe 2008. Sarajevo City Assambly together with other 43 B&H cities, cities of neighboring countries and many other cultural centres of Europe and all relevant European Institutions of Europe and the World supported the project. While in 2011, the European Parliament adopted the resolution that recognizes the Sarajevo Winter and supports the initiative for Sarajevo to be the Capital of Culture of Europe 2014.

Festival Sarajevo Winter together with the IPC was an organizer of pilot project of Council of Europe ‘Sarajevo, a first intercultural city of Council of Europe’ and a world conference on topic ‘intercultural and interreligious dialogue’, 21.12.2013. in Sarajevo. IPC and Sarajevo Winter founded the House of Europe Sarajevo and they chaired European Cultural Forum in Brussels. They, together with other World Festivals founded the Network Art Festival called Silk Road in Shangai, 2017. Organizer of International Festival “Sarajevo Winter” is International Peace Centre. IPC is a member of International Societies for Performing Arts (ISPA), the European Festival Association (EFA), and association of the Biennial of Young Artists of Europe and Mediterranean(BJCEM), Peace Network B&H and ALF. International Festival “Sarajevo Winter” is a winner of many international recognitions and is a winner of the most important award of Sarajevo “Šestoaprilska nagrada Sarajevo”.

The festival is held under sponsorship of General Secretary of Council of Europe, General Director of UNESCO, Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Council of Ministers of B&H, Canton Sarajevo, and City of Sarajevo.

Veceras sam gledala u Pozoristu Mladih monodramu "Sokratova odbrana". Moram priznati da sam mnogo ocekivala, jer je to jedan od meni najdrazih filozofsko-moralnih dramskih tekstova. Na zalost, razocaranje je bilo veliko. Ne toliko zbog "glume" Bajrush Mjakua, koji je uglavnom citao tekst, koliko tehnickom stranom predstave. Monodrama je bila na albanskom jeziku, sto je sasvim u redu, ali titlovani prevod je bio mjesavina makedonskog i srpsko-hrvatskog jezika. Bilo je izuzetno tesko vidjeti tekst jer su reflektori sa scene bili okrenuti prema publici i zasljepljavali. Titlovi su ponekad isli tako brzo da ih nije bilo moguce pratiti. Ponekad bi se "zamrzli" u pola recenice i onda nastavili nepovezano i bez smisla. A svi znamo da je tekst "Odbrane" ono sto je vazno da se prati i razumije u ovom kazivanju. Bez toga gledate jednog, uglavnom staticnog, covjeka koji cita tekst na jeziku koji ne razumijete. A koliko to moze da bude interesantno i da vam drzi paznju?! Iz tog razloga mnogi nisu mogli da izdrze do kraja i napustali su predstavu. Ionako mali broj gledalaca rapidno se smanjivao, sto je sigurno tuzno i ponizavajuce za glumca koji je toga svjestan. Da ne osjecam izuzetno postovanje prema glumcima i njihovoj umjetnosti, vjerovatno bih i ja izasla. Moram priznati da sam prizeljkivala.
