Backroom Beat

Dear Balbao Dancers and Berlin lovers,

a group from Berlin came up with a great idea to keep us dancing and connected on a regular weekly base in a virtual dance- and drinking room. Follow the BACKROOM BEAT page and let's meet, dance and chat on the next event.

Have you already heard about Backroom Beat? It's a digital (swing) club, that brings concerts and DJ sets to your living room. But Backroom Beat is more than just a live stream:
✰ BRB is a non-profit project by Berlin dancers for the community.
✰ BRB offers you a stage for your ideas.
✰ BRB is a digital dance club with a dancefloor to dance together and a bar to share a drink!

this is the last call for your lost and founds. If you recognize your clothes, text us within the next days. Otherwise we will give away the clothes to people who want them.

Spring time, cleaning up time. If you are interested in any of these posters from former BBW weekends, shout out loud now. Otherwise they will get familiar with the trash. ;)

One more thing.. we also made a small edition of risoprinted* A3-posters last year of each teacher couple. Every piece is unique. The red color is on the posters is neon.

We are giving away the few that are left. Throwing in one euro would be appreciated. 👌

* Risoprint technique comes from Japan and is done on a special printer that works like and makes it look like a silkscreen print.

Interested in a poster from 2017 or 2018? * We got some left!

2017 is silkscreen-printed, size A2, and has two different motifs. 2018 is an A1 poster.

Throwing in a symbolic euro would be appreciated. :)

Registration reminder

Here comes a little reminder … REGISTRATION STARTS TODAY at 11 am. But you can stay calm and don't have to sign up right away as we will have a lottery in the end. Don't forget it, tho. Registration will only be open for a week and close on Nov. 24th. Good luck, everyone!

Only less than than two weeks left until BBW 2016, yeah! We are offering screen printing again this year on Saturday. Look at this beautiful drawing by Matthias Pflügner and don't forget to bring extra T-Shirts or bags.
