Join our special 6 week project to help you connect with your child(ren) through process-orientated learning prompts, nurturing your family wellbeing, and share the journey with like minds in our online international parenting community. Together we are stronger!

During these times of anxiety and worry, art can play a wonderfully therapeutic and expressive outlet for all. Through our group course, you will learn to embrace the joy of mark making, construction and non-verbal communication with your children, tuning into how you both are feeling during your home retreat.

Grow your confidence to set up inviting open-ended Creative Spark activities, using many straight forward resources. Let go of the need to ‘get it right’ through staying with the process, and enjoy igniting your own curiosity through a ‘beginners mindset,’ and being their playmate. Let your child be your teacher, being fully present and immersing in their multi-sensory world.

Why invest in this course, when there is so much for free right now?

We are receiving many messages about parents running out of ideas to keep them and their child(ren) occupied during this pandemic. You can download lots for free, but we are also listening to parents needing the support to help make this situation work for them. This is a real-time guided course that provides you with new parenting tools and a different approach to creativity, for a way of living as a family, way more that just a bunch of activities. In just 30 minutes a day you can learn to confidently connect and be present with one another, discover new ways to make the ordinary moments feel extraordinary, and create your own unique person-centred mindful family experiences.

ART JOURNALING PROGRAMME STARTS AGAIN IN APRIL 2020 >> > DM me for a call / chat over a cuppa in the studio! ///

“The course really helped with getting in touch with my inner child, especially during a tender and sensitive period of my life. It was very therapeutic and relaxing. My favorite part was the focus on not over thinking, connecting to our senses, and the mindfulness exercises along with the art practises themselves. I learned a lot of creativity and art journaling techniques which I will continue to use myself in my art journaling practice. If someone wants to be able to play, then this is the prefect place to do that, or to remember how to play in the first place.” - Renee

Give yourself permission to PLAY, to express yourself, relax your monkey mind! Go wild with the creative joy of making marks, playing with collage, free flow writing without an end goal in mind. Join me on a journey to Kickstart AND Sustain your Creativity for your self-care and growth mindset, starting Monday 20th April. My 10 week, person-centred Art Journaling Programme will take you on a calming, process-orientated journey into reawakening and imbedding creative and mindful habits into YOUR everyday life!
🌱 Bring together writing and art for soulful self-care, relaxing through exploring art meditations and stress reducing intuitive processes. It can be terrifying to be creatively courageous, allowing yourself to be vulnerable, on a journey without a fixed destination. Together we support each other 🙌 Book now (link below) or DM me for a call / chat over a cuppa in the studio, to begin your transformative journey for Creative Living in Spring 2020.

Why making art is the new meditation

My Art Journaling Programme has been described by a participant as, "Yoga for the mind." This thought sprung to mind when I saw this article.

“Creating art is a type of meditation, an active training of the mind that increase awareness and emphasizes acceptance of feelings and thoughts without judgment and relaxation of body and mind.”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/inspired-life/wp/2015/08/25/why-making-art-is-the-new-meditation/?fbclid=IwAR0YiJm8_6ooj5caduuwlvSL3ddhZbfdqh8Fv-07PhWr2ckAMn67_t1r29c

If you can't find the patience to meditate, researchers say creating art offers some of the same benefits
