For ELEVE’s 9th edition at Sameheads we offer a slide down the living Esmark glacier into Loma’s Doom.

Hamburgs live duo Taprikk Sweeze and Scheich in China create polyphonic, dystopic science fiction sounds amidst constantly fluctuating chains of FX and filters. An integral part of Esmarks inspiration is drawn from Scandinavian solitude.

Amsterdams radio veteran Loma Doom is weaving together dark world music rhythms with moody psychedelica and light headed folk. With her show Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting she is a beacon of the mesmerisable.

Both will debut at Sameheads the 27th of March.

Celebrating our first year of existence today, this day one year ago we invited Anatolian Weapons to Sameheads and Berlin got introduced to our group. Since then we invited TAPAN, Woody NinetyTwo & Spekki Webu, Merel & Philip Berg to Sameheads and managed to throw a crazy last minute open air in the middle of Kreuzberg with DJ Down The Rabbit Hole, Emma Isabella, Nagababa, neinzer, Nurali and TARS. Thanks to all the artists that we had so far, for experimenting with us and bringing us great music. We hope everyone realises that without your presence and good energy it all wouldn't have been near as much fun, so thank you and keep on bringing those good vibrations! Besides bringing new and exciting sounds to Berlin, bringing people together and allowing for mutual safety, respect and joy are our most important goals. We hope to continue this great roll into our next year of existence as always with the great help of the best Berlin crew of Sameheads and our main door lady Dennis, see you around and maybe at our next party (ELEVE — Aleksa Alaska & Chlorys) in two weeks from now. Re-recording of my set at this wonderful open-air party since unfortunately, the wind was blowing away the needles all the time and I wanted to have a clean memory of this one. I enjoyed so much playing records as the sun was sinking and people were starting to get loose on the dancefloor.
