Ihre erste Aussage, als Freunde sie zu ihren ersten Spielen überreden wollten, war: „Ich hasse Kickern!“ Doch die Leidenschaft für diesen Sport entflammte unmittelbar mit den ersten Schussversuchen. So entdeckte Lilly 2004 im Alter von 20 Jahren die Liebe zum Tischfußballsport. Ab dem kurz darauf erfolgten Umzug nach Berlin war das tägliche Kickern bereits voll in ihren Alltag integriert. Schon 2005 trat sie für Berlin bei der 2. Tischfußball-Bundesliga an. Doch erst 2006 war ihr Ehrgeiz vollkommen geweckt. Nach den ersten Erfolgen auf nationaler Ebene folgte umgehend die Berufung in die Nationalmannschaft. Bereits 2007 belegte sie bei ihrer ersten Teilnahme einer Weltmeisterschaft einen sehr guten 5. Platz. 2009 gingen gleich zwei Träume in Erfüllung, der Deutsche Meistertitel im Einzel und der Weltmeistertitel mit der Nationalmannschaft. Außerdem belegte sie gemeinsam mit Nationalmannschaftskollegin und Partnerin Sandra Ranff den silbernen Rang im Damen-Doppel. Dieses erfolgreiche Duo bestätigte die verdiente Platzierung 2010 erneut mit einer weiteren gemeinsamen WM-Goldmedaille. Auch die ehrenamtliche Arbeit als Funktionärin spielt für sie eine wichtige Rolle. 2008 war sie als Pressesprecherin des DTFB (Deutscher TischFußballBund) tätig. Seit Ende 2007 engagiert sie sich als Sportwartin des TFVB (TischFußballVerband Berlin). One of my biggest early successes was to win the amateur doubles at the Open #GermanChampionships by P4P in 2008. 🏆 This picture thus is already 12 years old! 🙈 I remember as if it's been yesterday! It was a last minute appointment with a playing partner I've never met before! 🇦🇹 He went all the way from Austria to participate in this tournament and didn't know anything about me as well. 🤷🏻♀️ Even though I was "just" a girl (and times were really different then in foosball), he trusted our mutual friends, so we teamed up! 🤜🤛 Although it's been a blind "date" we felt very comfortable and happened to achieve something very special! ❤️ You can tell from my face how happy I felt! 🤩 And I still love those #memories!

Friend or enemy? The foosball scene is steadily growing, but still we call it a family as you always get to know a big part of the community. 🥰 I can call myself lucky as I made friends all around the world! 🌍 But this circumstance makes it pretty difficult sometimes at the table. Your friend becomes your enemy, your teammate suddenly is your opponent, feelings become ambivalent and its hard to be ambitious amongst a comrade. 🤷🏻♀️ A good foos friend of mine once told me in a World Cup finale: "There's no friends at the table!" ☝️ And he's right! In the epic finale from 2012 we played against France for the World Championship. 🇫🇷 🇩🇪 France chose Bonzini as their home table and we had the Leonhart. The format intends that you play one game at each table and if it's even you need to switch tables every two balls. 🙃 You can't imagine how difficult it is to adapt to the differences quickly. The result is an extraordinary close match with a lot of momentum changes. 🎢
