Today is the 50th #EarthDay🌎. What better way to celebrate it than watching Dialogue Earth. A documentary that promotes unity, equality, peace and harmony with nature🌱and our planet.
🎬 #Films4Transparency

Dialogue Earth is a feature-length documentary, which offers us a moving portrait of the German artist Ulrike Arnold, who paints with earth and meteorites from remote areas all around the world, and now travels through archaic, mystical landscapes in the American Southwest, especially the wilderness of southern Utah.

Visiting the US-Mexican border with artist friend Peter Young, she reveals her plans for her next work: To unite for the very first time in one painting earth colors from all the places she has visited over the past 38 years, to create a visual expression of the diversity of the continents and their peoples, as an articulation of unity.

19th IACC Postponed!

It is with a heavy heart that the IACC Council, Transparency International, together with our Korean hosts, have decided to postpone the 19th IACC to a later date this year. The 19th IACC will no longer take place from 2 to 5 of June 2020. While being a difficult decision requiring concerted action between all the organisers our main priority is to protect the health and well-being of our participants, partners, and staff.

Update #COVID19 #IACC2020

We understand that many of you are concerned regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and how it will affect the 19th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) in Seoul, Korea, from 2-5 June.

While our strong wish is to get together in early June for the IACC in Seoul to learn from each other and join forces in our efforts to end corruption in the coming years, our priority is the safety of all the participants and our staff.

The IACC team is regularly monitoring the situation and is in dialogue with the IACC Council and our partners in Korea. A decision to hold the Conference, to postpone to a later date or any other decision will be made in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we will continue with our planning.

We appreciate your understanding and recommend caution when making any financial commitments, like purchasing non-refundable flight tickets, until a final decision is reached.

We are happy to answer any questions and discuss any concerns you may have; please feel free to get in touch with us over email at [email protected]

Kyrgyzstan: On the Path to Creating a Digital Society | IACC Series

“The digitisation of society is a requirement of today. This will open up new opportunities for our citizens. The human factor in the provision of public services will be excluded, which will contribute to the eradication of corrupt elements” - Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov

Kyrgyzstan has been quick to highlight its efforts to create a more digital society, but implementation has been slow. We take a closer look at some of the initiatives by the Central Asian country.

Happy International Women’s Day 🥰

In late February in Belgrade, #Serbia, after a protest for the new law on financial assistance to families with children, messages saying 'Moms are not Mafia' and 'I vote for Moms' for Minister of Labour were left at the government door. Protesters see the new law as discriminatory law on payments for maternity leave.

IACC's #socent partner BIRN Srbija is working on tracing public budgets, conducting interviews, and creating an online tool in order to empower mothers and young families to access accurate information and to obtain fair maternity leave compensation. Follow the project: http://bit.ly/2BahAL9

Situated on the Wild Coast in the Eastern Cape province, the Xolobeni community had been resisting mining activities o...
