Join Cadbury Parfait for a theatrical burlesque workshop where we will focus on stage presence, delivery and audience engagement. The class will include a brief history of burlesque, warm up, various exercises including development of character, use of facial expressions and use of stage space and we shall finish the class learning a short routine. The class is open to all levels, but would be great for those wanting to develop as a performer.
Cadbury Parfait is a burlesque performer who has been treading the boards since she was 3. A degree in theatre and experience in musical choreography means Cadbury is all an round performer who brings in the audience into her own stage fantasy.

Ihr möchtet euren eigenen Federfächertanz kreieren, wisst aber nicht, wo ihr anfangen sollt? Oder seid ihr einfach neugierig und würdet gern mehr über diese prachtvollen Schönheiten erfahren? In diesem Workshop lernt ihr alles über Federfächer im Burlesque.
Der theoretische Teil führt euch in die Geschichte des Fächertanzes ein, einer Tradition des Burlesque seit den 1930ern. Wir sprechen über verschiedene Arten von Fächern, darüber, wo ihr sie bekommt, worauf ihr achten solltet, wie sie gelagert und gepflegt werden sollten und bei Interesse auch, wie ihr eure eigenen Federfächer herstellen könnt.
Im praktischen Teil lernt ihr ein speziell auf Fächertanz zugeschnittenes Warm-Up und eine Zahl von Posen und Schritten, die wir zu einer kleinen Choreographie zu einem klassischen Burlesque-Song verbinden.
Bringt bitte nach Möglichkeit eure eigenen Fächer mit. Auch kleine Handfächer funktionieren, wenn ihr keine großen aus Federn habt.
