Hello, Information about OFII:
Many new students who wish to travel without their OFII stamps.
Kindly do not be adventurous and avoid travelling (to your home country) without the OFII process and stamp on your passport. Definitely travelling within Europe is not allowed.
Secondly, while sending your form - it is advisable to have a copy of the form and to send it via Recommande avance (to receive a dated receipt back when OFII has received). This is to save you if OFII looses documents (very normal to loose) and this is the only to contest them, YES I DID...See this receipt smile emoticon
