The Grays Harbor Symphony is the third oldest community orchestra in Washington State. Founded in 1925, the first rehearsal was organized and directed by Karl Moldrem, violinist and teacher, from Aberdeen. Spring is in the air and our Bishop Center series of virtual gatherings is blooming! Join members of the Grays Harbor Symphony as they perform works representing rebirth and renewal, Friday, May 28th @ 7:00 PM PST.

The performance will feature the Grays Harbor Symphony performing Bacchanale, Banks of Green Willow, Song Without Words, and A Million Dreams from 'The Greatest Showman.' In addition, chamber ensembles will perform a variety of selections from Mozart to Lady Gaga.

The Grays Harbor Symphony presents "From Bach to Broadway" on the Bishop Center Stage Sunday, November 23 @ 7:00.
Bach masterpieces such as Passacaglia and Fugue, Fugue A La Gigue, beautifully arranged for full orchestra; themes from Bach cantatas such as Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and Arioso. Guest performers include Tania Basham on Oboe, and Debra Akerlund and Karen Meikle on Violin.
Broadway hits will include familiar melodies from Porgy and Bess, Jubilee, The King and I, West Side Story, Girl Crazy, and Fiddler on the Roof, featuring solos by Mezzo-Soprano Joy Dorsch, and violinist Debra Akerlund.
