Yes, we’re booking!!
For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been booking enthusiastically — music and comedy at Sanctuary in Maynard and a storytelling series at Old Frog Pond Farm in Harvard. Sanctuary is a BIG room — a former church with 30-foot ceilings, etc. — and we won’t be filling the room to capacity. A new air conditioning system is currently being installed and Sanctuary will be following all CDC and state COVID guidelines. Old Frog Pond Farm is, well, a farm. We have a selection of gorgeous outdoor spaces in which to present our series.

Visit Fugitive's website for a preview of our calendar to date. More to come. www.FugitiveProductions.com.

Been watching many Fugitive artists live streaming and am enjoying the creativity that so many performers are providing through social media. And I've been in touch with a number of talented folks about bringing back live shows once we can safely congregate again. The world is on pause, in some ways, as we do our best to keep each other from harm's way. When it's safe to bring back live performance, I'll be eager to unite talented folks, appreciative audiences, and great venues in Boston's western 'burbs. We are living in crazy and uncertain times. Many of us have experienced either sickness or loss within one or two degrees of separation. Though live performance is far from a necessity, it can be soothing and energizing and can connect us through shared experience. When the time comes, I look forward to seeing you “in the room where it happens.”

Hosted an incredible evening of storytelling last night at Concord Center for the Visual Arts. I think we topped 100 folks in attendance. Concord Arts provided four folks new to telling (though you would never have known it) and I brought four of Fugitive's featured tellers. Some of the best stories ever. Several people signed up for my eblast. My list now includes 999 names. Who would like the honor of being #1,000? If it be you, click on the link that follows! (fgtiv.com/getmail)

Storytelling is a fun evening out! Club Passim & Massmouth Inc. hosted a welcoming crowd and over-the-top storytelling. I heard about a lucid dream, twisted hair, children trying to negotiate use of a rocking chair and an unexpected "are you available" question and where it led. One of last night's winners (Sara on the far left) told a Prince-inspired story in July with Fugitive Stories at Kickstand Cafe in Arlington. Hope you can join Fugitive Stories at The Kickstand Cafe in Arlington at 7:30pm this Thursday 10/24 for some good food, good company and great stories! Tickets $10/online at fgtiv.com/tickets or $12/door.

Big shout out to the folks who twisted or shouted with us last night at the Two for One Show at Club Passim! Next Two for One Show: "Lean" or "Mean" on 9/18.
