The 52nd Fireball Classic Memorial Race – 2019 -- The Fireball partners with the Back to School Basics program by donating proceeds from the race. In 2018, because of the Fireball Classic proceeds, Back to School Basics was able to provide backpacks and school supplies for over 1000 Pontotoc County students! When you run you make a difference.

The Fireball Classic Memorial is a sanctioned hilly course that starts in front of the Wintersmith Lodge.
- The 5K track loops the park twice
- The first 2 miles of the 10K is fairly flat; then a half mile long slow grade, 0.25 mile downhill, 0.50 mile steep uphill, levels out for 2 miles with a big dip on the end.
- The half marathon was added on the 50th anniversary of the race. This is a challenging course. It is designed to include the 10K on the beginning and the end of the half with 11.0975 in the middle.
This is a course USATF/Oklahoma/LDR certified and sanctioned 10K hilly scenic course and a 5K hilly loop scenic course with accurate splits each kilometer. Water on course and fruit and water at the finish. No dogs or animals allowed on the course (insurance requirement). No baby strollers or bicycles allowed on the course (insurance requirement).
