The Adrian Public Schools Recreation Department is teaming up with Blackhorse Crossfit, the City of Adrian, the YMCA of Lenawee, and RUN SKEELS, to bring Maple Family Fitness Nights to Heritage Park this summer.

The importance of health and wellness, as well as a sense of togetherness, has never been more important. So, join us every Tuesday and Thursday night, from 6 - 7 pm, starting July 13th, and running through August 19th, as we explore functional fitness:

We will be focusing on improving our cardiovascular and strength in an environment where all people of all fitness levels can improve their overall wellness. It’s You vs. You. “Let’s Be Stronger Together!”

These sessions are FREE and open to all APS students and families as well as City of Adrian residents. You must register and sign the waiver to participate.

Adrian High School presents Peter and the Starcatcher, Feb 19th & 20th at 7:30 PM in the AHS Performing Arts Center.

Join us for a Readers Theatre experience full of Starstuff, whimsy, and fun! This production of Peter and the Starcatcher will feature talented Adrian High School actors using minimal staging, scenery, and costumes while reading from scripts to share a magical and marvelous tale. This fantastical play tells the story of how a miserable orphan boy becomes the legendary Peter Pan. You’ll meet some incredible new characters and revisit old favorites (and learn their backstories along the way).

Seating is limited to 250 audience members per performance. Masks are required, and guests will be seated according to current social distancing requirements.

02/05/2021

Adrian Public Schools will be closed Friday, Feb 5th, 2021, due to forecasted snow, ice, and high winds tonight and into the morning.

Stay warm, drive safe, and as always.... GO MAPLES!!!

A Message From Mr. Skeels:

HELP NEEDED! We are hosting 2 PowerLifting exhibition meets and the Varsity State Meet this year at Adrian High School. This year will be a lot different for everyone, but I wanted to know if anyone could help judge or work a table?

The exhibition meets are next Wednesday, February 10th, and February 17th, both from 5-8 pm. The state meet is here on March 13th, and it will run all day. Please let me know if you are available and interested in helping the Adrian High School Powerlifting team. These are a ton of fun to attend, and in the process, you're helping our students.

Please email me at [email protected]

Go, Maples!!!

Maples. Won 28 to 7 against Tecumseh Indians . Our men had a Lot of fun. Both teams played a very good game with no injuries. These are our men who love the game and give all they can to win a very tough and at time rough game. But there is one thing I don't under stand. There was no flag flown nor are there any anthem before any of our games. Can anyone answer this question for me.
