We posted previously about this project, and wanted to put it out there once more!

This drawing is a rough draft of a future update we would like to do to our current outdoor stage.

We can NOT build this stage and make these improvements without grants and donations.

We can not apply for grants without bids.

Because The Little Church on the Hill is a part of this community, we love supporting locally owned businesses with projects like this!

Please email [email protected] or message the Elk Creek Township Historical Society to schedule a time to meet and discuss this project.

We are accepting bids until August 18th. Please be sure to tag your favorite small businesses and share this post to help make everyone aware of our next project.

We TOLD you that we weren't done yet!

Thank you for helping us continue to make future memories in the past and for supporting local area history!

See you at an event (Like the Bell Tower "Open House" and August Outdoor Coffee House) SOON!

Interested in having a little piece of The Little Church on the Hill of your own?

In addition to the items in our Silent Auction Fundraiser (did you bid yet??), we will also have bells made by Rustic Rough Cut from the bell tower wood available to take home for a minimum $10 donation for each bell.

Funds raised through the silent auction, bell tower bells, and other donations are the main sources of income and are greatly appreciated!

Bells will be available at the Bell Tower "Open House" at 5 pm on August 21st and during the August Outdoor Coffee House from 7 pm - 9 pm that evening.

Quantities ARE limited, so be sure to stop out on the 21st. Each wooden bell and auction item will also include a certificate of ownership. Certificates were modeled after the certificates originally presented to those who helped build our little church in 1855.

Be a part of history while helping ensure the protection of this part of history and help the Elk Creek Township Historical Society continue to make future memories in the past.

See you at an event soon!

Earl Baumgardner and Sarah Baumgardner have been hard at work helping get the church ready for the Bell Tower "Open House" on August 21st at 5 pm!

Today they repainted the steps to our current outdoor stage and updated the entryway to the building. We appreciate their donations of time and supplies to the preservation efforts at The Little Church on the Hill.

The Elk Creek Township Historical Society couldn't do all we do without the help of this community. If YOU are interested in being involved in taking care of local area history, please message us today!

Good morning!! Just a quick update on our current silent auction fundraiser here at The Little Church on the Hill.

Some new bids have been placed on the items listed, so be sure to check and see if your top bid and STILL the top bid!

You can click on the photos to view each item and see what the current highest bid it.

See sometihng you like? Remember to fill out a contact for so we know who you are, then place your bid on the Silent Bid page. You can access both through our website (there are even instructional videos to help guide you to using each form!) https://sites.google.com/view/ecths/home

This two step process helps ensure the privacy of everyone playing! If you have ANY trouble with any step, please message the Elk Creek Township Historical Society and we will be glad to help.

Remember, this is a fundraiser. The Elk Creek Township Historical Society will use this money towards projects such as updating the outdoor stage, the indoor stage, and other preservation and restoration projects.

Programs like the August Outdoor Coffee House, Time Travel Summer Club, and even the upcoming Bell Tower "Open House" are all ways to help support the The Little Church on the Hill. The supplies you see at these events are all donated by volunteers and NOT purchased with the money donated.

Moving our focus from fundraising for a minute and looking at Coffee Houses!

We've had the honor of featuring a LOT of different performers over the years. In fact, the first Coffee House was held 29 years ago in August!

We would love to see you at The Little Church on the Hill for a coffee house soon! Coffee House is the 3rd Saturday of the month from 7-9 pm, running from October through August. September Coffee House this year will be at the Albion Area Fair with our second ever Mini-Coffee House at the Fair on Saturday, Sep 18 at 1:00pm.

So, think back and tell us - Which performers have you have seen at a coffee house that you would love to see again?

Who have we missed out on that we need to talk to for an upcoming Coffee House?

We're listening!!

Let's see if we can't start filling up those pews again for evenings of music, community, and FUN!
