Chuck Hall, legendary singer songwriter kicked off our weekend of music at Mulloy's Public House in Nutrioso on Friday and will be staring Saturday as well!

As a 30-year veteran in the music business, Chuck has played with some of the best, opening shows for Albert Collins, B.B. King, Johnny Winter, Albert King, Willie Dixon, Robert Cray, Gregg Allman, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, and many others.

In addition, he has written over 100 songs and more than half of the band's playlist is original material. Chuck's unique talent and uncompromising dedication to his craft have earned him accolades among fans and critics.

He won "Best Blues Guitarist" in the Char's Has the Blues competition two years in a row, and his song "Young Boy" was selected Best Song of 1986. For years considered the best blues guitarist in Arizona, Chuck continues a rigorous pace of performing, writing, and recording with the band.

Chuck is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, make sure to stop by and say hi to this King of Blues.

It is with very heavy hearts that we have finally decided to cancel the 2020 Alpine Country Blues Festival. We thought about moving it further into the summer but we can’t take a chance with the summer monsoons, nor do we even know how large a gathering we will be able to have for the event. Mid fall was another possibility, but we still get rains through the month of September, and then we start getting cold weather very quickly in our little mountain community.

We will be back again next year! Dates for 2021 will be June 18th and 19th.
