Please Share this! Cyclists, walkers, & Runners, we need your help today! HB-554 (3-feet safe passage law) has been set for hearing today at 2PM or upon adjournment of House in House Transportation Committee, chaired by Rep. Canales. We need you to register online testimony using the link below. What this does is register your support into the record that will follow the bill through the legislative process. Every member of the legislature and the public will be able to see how many people are registered in support or opposition to the bill, so a lot of people registered in support helps it look favorable. When registering online testimony, please start your sentence with ********“I am in favor of HB 554 because”... ******* It helps for record-keeping to state your position on the bill at the very beginning. You do NOT have to come to Austin. But we do encourage anyone willing to come up to Austin and testify in person on Tuesday. If you have a personal story to share, if you bring a unique perspective to why we need this bill, if you can eloquently persuade people with opposite beliefs that giving 3ft to people on bikes statewide is desperately needed... then I would invite you to testify in person. CONTACT: [email protected] [email protected] Thank YOU for your time and advocacy. __________________________________ View Transportation Committee Hearing Notice: https://capitol.texas.gov/.../html/C4702021042014001.htm Register online testimony: https://comments.house.texas.gov/home?c=c470 How to register to testify in person: https://mytxlegis.capitol.texas.gov/HWRSPublic/About.aspx On Tuesday, watch the transportation committee broadcast live: https://house.texas.gov/video-audio/

This was a great ride! Excellent support and planning. The wind could have been more friendly and not blown down a sign, but we all made it out and back safe and sound! Hats off to Pryia, Kathy and all the volunteers.
A couple of missing route signs just means bonus miles at the end of the day.
Any updates on the ride?
Due to weather, is the tour still on? I hope is is not canceled!
80% chance of thunderstorms before 1 pm tommorrow. Is the ride still on? If so is there still a potential it will be cancelled?
Looks like the weather is indeed going to be awful for bike riding on Saturday. The wind alone is going to take the fun out of it.
The NWS is hinting at more severe weather this coming weekend, and likely on race day. I know the event is rain or shine, but what's the plan if there is rough weather again like we just had?
Is this a hilly ride?
