Going to miss this one when she goes home 🥺 😍

03/12/2021

Chaos in the background 😂 this is why videoing never goes well. Dogs running wild. Steer gets loose. Joshua is just like okay we are riding. At least you know he can focus!

THANK YOU to all of our current and future clients.

Thanks to Cody’s incident, I know have time to take another outside horses that’s not already on my list.

Prefer tune ups, starting on barrels/cows, outside miles etc. as I have c**ts waiting to be started already on my current list for next year. But am not against another.

Feel free to message me here, text or call (cell service is sometimes iffy at the ranch).

12/07/2020

Send me a PM or comment if you were on the list after February. My file for next year has disappeared 😞

11/06/2020

Anyone have horses needing some outside miles? They need to have a good handle, NO c**t type with 30 days under their belts.

09/22/2020

Just about to finish up 80 sessions with Bunny. Will try to get a video before she goes home! Love how she rides. And is so confident outside the arena too.

I’ve dropped off the radar a bit, only have tome for 1-2 outside horses on top of my own and raising a toddler! The rest of this year is full but I have an opening in January 2021.

08/20/2020

3 year old Bunny, under 2 months riding. I do things a little different. I let them get some good forward movement/impulsion and be accountable for staying between my hands at the speed I ask, before adding more bend & collection. This little filly rides out nicely and works great while they are roping. Love her ❤️

Little update on Bunny. Such a great little filly!

Around Indies 70th ride. She is confident enough to help me pony Esperanza back from the arena. Riding nicely one handed at all gaits, getting some more outside exposure before heading home.

Indie has been doing fabulous both in and out of the arena. Working on building her confidence on longer solo rides, and carrying different objects that might come in handy one day.

Next filly that is coming to be started is Dittos half sister! I am so EXCITED. We have started 4 of her siblings. She will be number 5.

Short clip from Indies owners first ride on her 😀

Happy day! Indies owner got to ride her for the first time.

Indie with just under 30 rides. No lunging or warm up. Now will be adding some more finishing buttons and trail miles. She rides nicely during the bustle of roping practice already.

Cody’s video for “Western Wednesday”. Ditto strolling bridle less. McKinley let him borrow her horse today.

Ending week 3. Riding nicely while the guys were warming up to rope. Good forward motion with direction and introducing stopping/backing. The sooner you can intergrade them into commotion the better.

😀 Calico 3 horse slant. Very handy trailer. Dividers are easily removable to use as a stock trailer or leave them in when hauling horses. 7 foot tall. I have not come across anything we couldn’t load in this trailer. Only selling because I just bought this exact trailer as a 4 horse.

Getting used to the sights and sounds of roping on this very cold, windy evening.

I’m very blessed by the amount of people contacting me about getting their horse trained after watching our video(s). Due to this, I currently have no spots open for this year. Don’t hesitate to contact me about getting on my waiting list. Sometimes horses progress quicker than planned and finish my program sooner.

For those of you new to my page, I will try to get better about posting progress videos.

A few facts about my program...

⭐️ I prefer to start horses outside of a round pen; working on speed control first, turning second and by that point they have taught themselves how to stop.
⭐️ I am “slower” than some other trainers because I will not push a horse, they tell me when to go on. I am on their time frame, not the time we think it should take.
⭐️ I start with each horse the same way—-whether they are 3 or 20. Certain fundamentals are better not skipped.

Nice cruising lesson today. Speed control and brakes are VERY important.

🐮 Esperanza’s first time with cattle 🐮 It has been fun being able to document all of her first steps with everything. Cody also roped one, turned it and she guided into pretty good position.

Indie at the end of her session today. Ended with a nice walk around. Day 3 back and 4th ride. Very smart little mare!

Put a couple rides on this girl this summer, and now she is back to get finished. She has remembered everything she learned so far.

I only have one opening left for the year.

02/10/2020

Working on little things leads to bigger things! Lateral movement was a hard thing for this mare to pick up. Vertical flexion was challenging for her too.

02/07/2020

Working on ground tying with Esperanza.

02/07/2020

Moving down the waiting list! Next available opening will be end of May. Please PM/text or call if you would like to be added to the list. I’m only taking three more horses to break for the year.

***edit***all spots filled except one.
