American Quarter Horse Association

We are sad to report that American Quarter Horse Hall of Famer Billy Allen died September 19 after a short battle with cancer.

“Billy was an outstanding horseman in the true nature of the word,” says noted trainer and AQHA judge Al Dunning. “He competed to the highest level in many events and was an icon in AQHA. Billy was a gentleman, a great family man and a real cowboy.”

The American Quarter Horse Foundation is saddened by the passing of talented sculptor Laurence Douglas “Doug” Israelsen, 74, on April 25, 2020.

His artistic talents flourished throughout his adulthood and included woodworking, exquisite original piano compositions and most notably, life-sized bronze sculptures.

He prided himself on his World Champion American Quarter Horse Okie, the model for his sculpture “Great Western Tradition,” which stands at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum in Amarillo, Texas.

What is the difference in Green Horse and Rookie?
I have wanted to find out information on a stallion named Acrosonic. I had a blue roan out of him in the 60s. He was very fast on short distances. Is there a way to find out if Acrosonic was anything special?
Had a son of this stallion and produced great working foals for our farm. The one foal we showed did very well here in NZ. Clinton Anderson kept asking to buy him and finally I relented.
Here's a Grandson of Watch Joe we raised, "Gold Watch Joe". AKA Mr. ED. Howard bought him back when our daughter needed college funds.
I had a llLeo need horse. His name was Sir Zero Leo. He was a one eyes horse. I bought him as a colt. He he's lost his eye in an accident. It never affected his performance.
Does anybody have pictures of any of these horses in this listing.
I just found the page... I'm looking but can't find impressive. I know he was the beginning of a horrible gene but he was also the top halter horse. My mare has impressive all over, also coosa and I'm a rosita.. She is an amazing horse. Level headed, sweet... I'd love to see pictures of her line.
We help THE AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE In every aspect of their lives....
Does anyone out there have info on Burt bred horses or have one?? That is what my mare mainly is and I sure do love her.
Just got my 50 hour awards from the AQHA and all breeds divisions!!! #aqhaproud!!!!
