Next Generation Registration

(Edited to add: The link should be back up but if you have trouble, please follow the info below.)

Our registration deadline is coming up soon and suddenly our link is not working. There are still spaces available so here are a couple of other options if the link doesn't work for you while we work out the problem.

1) Use this link http://niemmaus.com/forms/machform/view.php?id=26280

2) Call the church office at 395-7712 to register and pay on the 15th.

3) Send us a message with your name, phone, and email via Facebook. We will reserve a spot for you and work out the payment when the button comes back online or at the event.

Don't let this technology glitch prevent you from coming! We still have a few spots left to give hope to the next generation!

The Next Generation Event is almost here and our team has made significant adaptations to keep us all COVID-safe. Here are the new details but PLEASE SIGN UP NOW. We have capped the attendance to maintain social distancing so don't miss your chance to give hope to the next generation!

1) Instead of using multiple session rooms, you will select your seat and keep it for all sessions. The breakout sessions will now be attended by everyone in the main sanctuary and not in smaller groups around campus. This means everybody will benefit from every session, not just the ones you sign up for! (Please note that the registration form still asks you to make three choices. Go ahead and choose three (3) to complete the registration process but you will actually attend all six (6).)

2) We will utilize social distancing during lunch periods and will not have hands-on activities or shared materials. Lunch will be spread out over the church campus, even with canopies outside for those who want to social distance even more. Hand sanitizing stations and masks are readily available.

3) We regret to announce that the Hidden In Plain Sight trailer will not be at the event. The HIPS team did not feel they could provide appropriate COVID accommodations. They will be missed but we understand and respect their position.

4) To accommodate the revised schedule, the day will end at 3:15pm instead of 3pm. We apologize for any inconvenience but we simply could not fit everything in SAFELY without adding the extra few minutes.

5) We are following Indiana Executive Order 20-37 for mask compliance.

So, we look forward to seeing YOU in a safe and compliant Next Generation Event!

2 Timothy 1:7 - "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind"

C.C.'s Closet

Check out the CC's Closet organization during lunch @TheNextGenEvent. Book your reservation today. Like and share to get the word out about this workshop on August 15th.

CC's Closet is a nonprofit organization that serves as a community closet for infants through adults living in Miami County; assisting with clothing, shoes, toiletries, baby gear and supplies; and, yes, we also rehome gently-used books, toys and stuffed animals.

Everything is free to the recipients, and it’s an all-volunteer organization.

We are located at the old South Peru School, 19 Park Drive, back by the playground, exterior door #9. It doesn’t say South Peru School though anymore. It says Quad Med out front. We are in the back.

We are there every Monday from 4-7pm and every Friday from 8am until noon, and other times by appointment as our schedules allow.

People can contact us through our page: https://www.facebook.com/CCClosetMiamiCounty/
People can visit our page at:
fb.me/CCClosetMiamiCounty
People can send our page messages at m.me/CCClosetMiamiCounty

They can also text 765-863-0389.

CC's Closet is a community closet for Miami Co. children & adults. It was established in honor of Carol Conrad, thus the CC’s name. The clothing is free. We also assist with toiletries and baby gear.

For Such a Time as This...

"The Next Generation Event: For Such a Time As This" is for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, friends, family... and YOU! Mark your calendar for August 15th to be a part of the special event presented by the Outreach and Women's Ministries.

The issues affecting the next generations touch all of us and we cannot ignore them. This event is designed to educate, equip, and empower us to meet the needs and challenges of our youth. We strongly believe that it is vital to reach our younger generations and it is imperative that everyone becomes better equipped to lift up these young people. Using the Biblical principle of Esther, God has placed us here... in this time... for all of us to reach out to the next generations.

Keynote speaker will be Dr. Emilie DeYoung, Kids Hope psychologist and practicing clinician at "Winning At Home" counseling center. Break-out session topics throughout the day will include Technology, Social Issues, Mentoring, Addictions & Abuse, Poverty & Crime, plus Parenting & Grandparenting. The $5 registration will include lunch and the opportunity to learn first-hand about the dangers around our youth and view the "Hidden in Plain Sight" trailer.

Together, let us bring the church and community into the solutions and commit to doing what God has put us here to do. Click on the “Book Now” button to register or contact the McGrawsville Community Church office at (765) 395-7712 for registration information.

(Funded in part by the Miami County Community Foundation, the Deborah Harts Memorial Fund, and a gift from the Miami CAP Council)
