"The Next Generation Event: For Such a Time As This" is for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, friends, family... and YOU! Mark your calendar for August 15th to be a part of the special event presented by the Outreach and Women's Ministries.
The issues affecting the next generations touch all of us and we cannot ignore them. This event is designed to educate, equip, and empower us to meet the needs and challenges of our youth. We strongly believe that it is vital to reach our younger generations and it is imperative that everyone becomes better equipped to lift up these young people. Using the Biblical principle of Esther, God has placed us here... in this time... for all of us to reach out to the next generations.
Keynote speaker will be Dr. Emilie DeYoung, Kids Hope psychologist and practicing clinician at "Winning At Home" counseling center. Break-out session topics throughout the day will include Technology, Social Issues, Mentoring, Addictions & Abuse, Poverty & Crime, plus Parenting & Grandparenting. The $5 registration will include lunch and the opportunity to learn first-hand about the dangers around our youth and view the "Hidden in Plain Sight" trailer.
Together, let us bring the church and community into the solutions and commit to doing what God has put us here to do. Click on the “Book Now” button to register or contact the McGrawsville Community Church office at (765) 395-7712 for registration information.
