Territorial Days Park Amboy Territorial Park - Amboy, Washington. Home of the annual Amboy Territorial Days Celebration featuring many family activities including the Log Show.

Please click 'About' for more history and highlights of this beautiful park. Amboy Territorial Park, in Amboy Washington, was established over 50 years ago to celebrate the opening of the first Amboy Post Office. The Park is home to the Amboy Territorial Days Celebration which is held every year on the 2nd full weekend in July. See below for more details about this yearly celebration that includes the exciting Log Show featuring competitions in the traditional skills used by the logging profession such as log rolling, axe throwing, pole climbing, choker setting, and much more. Many other events take place at the Park through-out the year including the Amboy Riding Club events in the corral, Veteran's celebrations, Christmas Lights Festival, Music festivals and more. The beautiful Park grounds include play areas, well-maintained restrooms,a large pavilion with multiple kitchen facilities, two buildings, stages and a large corral, all of which are available to be reserved by local groups and organizations. Local non-profit community organizations (Veteran's organizations, etc.) may use the buildings at no cost. The Park is also home to a large arena with amphitheater style seating and which has been used for many purposes such as weddings, music events, lawn mower races as well as for the Amboy Territorial Days Log Show featured on the Amboy Territorial Days Celebration weekend. Amboy Territorial Park is solely owned and operated by the non-profit, all volunteer Amboy Territorial Park Association. The Association meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 7pm in building #2 at the Park. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings and to join the Amboy Territorial Park Association. We're ALL volunteers and we ALWAYS need more volunteers to support this beautiful community Park and our beautiful community. ALL funds earned from events and park use fees, after expenses, are put into savings and are used to improve the Park and to assist our local community. The majority of funds earned are from the annual Amboy Territorial Days Celebration.

The park is open!
Thank you to the entire Incident Management Team for all of their work!

09/12/2020

While the Incident Management Team in charge of suppressing the Big Hollow fire has a satellite camp at the Territorial Days Park, we will not be open to the public. This is for their safety and well being. They need time to rest and plan. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you soon.

09/12/2020

The Incident Management Team (IMT) in charge of suppressing the Big Hollow fire is establishing a satellite camp at Territorial Days Park.
I am not telling you this, so you rush down and offer your help. The firefighters do appreciate your thoughts. What they do want is some peace and quiet so they can rest and recharge. They are up 16-20 hours a day. Please, when you drive by at 9:00 in the evening, don't honk your horn and shout "Thank You". Let them rest.
Signs are wonderful. Nice and quiet, and there any time they go by.
The IMT will have showers and food for them. If there is anything they ask for, we will make sure to pass that on. Your thanks are appreciated, but they really don't need anything more than a chance to rest.

Hope y'all are having a Great summer!
This post is for a local friend who was at Amboy Territorial Park a few days ago when she lost a precious ring that was her Mother's. It is a sterling silver ring with 2 turquoise stones in it. She believes it was lost between the corral and the pump house (in the middle of the grass parking area). A metal detector was used to search for it to no avail.
If anyone found this ring, it would be so truly appreciated if you would contact us.
Thank you.
