Ames, Iowa Branch of the NAACP

Thank you for stopping by to view our page. Since 1994, the Ames NAACP Branch has actively pursued our mission to ensure a society where all individuals have civil rights without discrimination based on race.

We pro-actively engage in 1) bridging communication gaps within our local community; 2) participating in outreach and training to foster diverse inclusivity, and 3) raising awareness relevant to disparities and injustices.

Those who collaborate with us to achieve the above are our City government, local and university law enforcement, the Ames School District, Iowa State University and the Ames Chamber of Commerce. So, join us by becoming a member, volunteer or a donor.
