The safety and health of people living with #diabetes, their families, our supporters and volunteers are our #1 priority. With that in mind, we have decided to change ALL Step Out® events nationwide to virtual events.
Even though we won’t be hosting traditional events, our virtual events will be a chance for you to participate with other people in our community – keeping safe distancing rules in place, of course. Prior to event day, we will have fun and engaging ways to connect to our community of supporters.

We know that you, like us, are probably following the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) closely—please know that we are here for you.
As you probably already know, the CDC has determined that COVID-19 is a serious public health threat—and older adults and people with serious chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, are at a higher risk of experiencing complications and getting very sick from it. In these uncertain times, we want to ensure that you and your loved ones have the resources you need to stay healthy and safe.
The diabetes community is tough and resilient—and I know we will get through this, together. Because no matter what, we are #ConnectedforLife.
Be safe,

The CDC has determined that COVID-19 is a serious public health threat. This is especially true for people with diabetes who face greater risks of complications when dealing with viral infections like the flu, and that is likely to be true with the Coronavirus.
We compiled a health safety check list recommended by the CDC. Click here for the full list: http://bit.ly/2TAwxhV
