The safety and health of people living with #diabetes, their families, our supporters and volunteers are our #1 priority. With that in mind, we have decided to change ALL Step Out® events nationwide to virtual events.

Even though we won’t be hosting traditional events, our virtual events will be a chance for you to participate with other people in our community – keeping safe distancing rules in place, of course. Prior to event day, we will have fun and engaging ways to connect to our community of supporters.

We know that you, like us, are probably following the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) closely—please know that we are here for you.

As you probably already know, the CDC has determined that COVID-19 is a serious public health threat—and older adults and people with serious chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, are at a higher risk of experiencing complications and getting very sick from it. In these uncertain times, we want to ensure that you and your loved ones have the resources you need to stay healthy and safe.

The diabetes community is tough and resilient—and I know we will get through this, together. Because no matter what, we are #ConnectedforLife.

Be safe,
Charles D. Henderson, Chief Field Operations Officer

The CDC has determined that COVID-19 is a serious public health threat. This is especially true for people with diabetes who face greater risks of complications when dealing with viral infections like the flu, and that is likely to be true with the Coronavirus.

We compiled a health safety check list recommended by the CDC. Click here for the full list: http://bit.ly/2TAwxhV

Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes

DIABETES STANDS TO BECOME ONE OF OUR NATION’S GREATEST HEALTH CHALLENGES

More than 34 million adults and children in the United States have diabetes—and 1.5 million Americans are being diagnosed every year. An additional 88 million adults have prediabetes, a condition likely to lead to diabetes if not addressed.

The American Diabetes Association® is fighting for these millions of families and individuals—working to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of those living with diabetes.

From research labs to the halls of the Capitol to the offices of health care practitioners to communities nationwide, the American Diabetes Association is there. We are leading the nation in creating a powerful community of care that is grounded in strong science and innovative thinking.

Hey! I am a medical student, and I have seen multiple patients, who are doing the “halki diabetes remedy” I was very fascinated by that so I did my research and I learned. I made a review on why that can really improve your diabetes. Most people have a really normal life and it’s very impressive. Here is the article. I hope I could help you. If you like what you read please share this article to other as it can benefit them. If you have any questions I will be happy to help. https://changingreviews.wordpress.com/2020/12/06/halki-diabetes-remedy-2020-does-it-work/?fbclid=IwAR2FyC22ee2aYfAmYBFMe2NqU1-dr380eZfYMs9puJ9FaQd-1HGlxZiC63s
