We are a group of furniture makers dedicated to creating a community of craft by educating, sharing resources, and promoting our work through excellent craftsmanship and relevant designs.

Don't forget it's Mother's Day this weekend! Take your mothers out to see some art, meet some artist, and have fun in the festivities at the West Austin Studio Tours.

We will have talented furniture makers and artists showcasing their work at our studio on 3900 Woodbury Dr. We will also have live music and free mimosas for the Mamas.

Hi there! I spoke with a kind-soul at a woodworking school and he recommended I post here along with several other Facebook groups. I'm looking to complete the following small project. Any help is appreciated, and if you're interested please let me know. We can move to private message and work out details. So, I hope this post is not inappropriate of me. Please forgive if so! I don't have the tools or resources to get the materials and thought it would be a fun for someone who is interested in woodworking. PROJECT DETAILS: I'm looking for 3 benches in the rough style of images below. These benches will line the walls in our home to make a "C booth." Ideally, they could be locked together so they remain secure. I'm hoping this 3x design simplifies the project, makes it easier for /pick up/delivery, reduces the price and allows us the flexibility to move them in our home down the road. 2 of the benches will be in-front of windows (see picture of dining room). They will likely require a simple back support. I'd prefer this to be a round, small post, but I'm flexible! Happy to discuss this with you. No cushions. No need for super-expensive wood, but we'd like something that will hold up and look decent in our home. Staining/finish required. Let me know if I've missed anything else. ROUGH MEASUREMENTS: Of course, I'd look to your recommendations and have you over to measure and brainstorm together. Also, I didn't entirely account for the baseboards (benches will be flesh with walls and legs will be set back from edge), but here is my rough if all are the same depth: ALL: 22"-24" deep, 18-19" high #1: 117" long #2: 54" long #3: 64" long Let me know and THANK YOU!
