We want to give a special shout out to the good folks at A-Line Auto Parts who have been a great sponsor of the Lonestar Round Up for years - they are a family run, Texas based business. Jim Arnold opened the doors to Arnold Oil Company right here in Austin in 1977 and 4 generations and lots of hard work later growing to more than 30 locations across Central and South Texas. Not only are they a great resource for parts and products, but they also help give back to their community raising money for Toy for Tots and more. Thanks A-Line!

We are sorry to announce the Lonestar Round Up will not be able to take place in September 2021 as planned.

We were informed today that Travis County is cancelling all upcoming events out at the Expo Center due to the current high growth of new COVID cases and hospitalizations in Travis and surrounding counties. We hate to have to do this - we have been working really hard to get the show back up and going. Conditions have changed quickly and drastically the last few weeks.

We plan to return on April 22 & 23rd, 2022

If you are currently registered for the show, are a vendor or have a swap meet space - we will continue to hold your registration over to the new show dates and we truly appreciate your support - it helps us to keep the Lonestar Round Up alive and moving ahead. If you do want a refund please contact us at [email protected] and we will refund you.

Featured Registration - Remy Saldivar’s 1931 Ford Tudor sedan from San Antonio TX headed to the Lonestar Round Up. We dig this cool longroof hot rod with history - pinstripes & pleated interior. Anyone here recognize it from days past on the west coast?

From Remy: Purchased as is already running from a shop here in Texas. They had received it as a trade in for another car. I was told it was built in California in the 60's. Still has California plates on it. Not sure who built it or who originally owned it. It originally had a nailhead and fenders. Windshield has a sticker that says "Bonneville National Speed Trials Inspected '77.”

Whats the word on the show this year. I see ROT had to move from the fair grounds....
I wanted to say that I am so proud of my wife Rhonda Sears for having the courage to come forward and push for changes that must be made in Texas law to protect ALL victims of child sexual assault. Her work to bring attention to this issue, along with the constant push to Texas lawmakers is doing so much for the many victims of sexual assault who find themselves in a similar situation to her own. I hope and pray that our duly elected lawmakers are paying attention. My wife is not just one woman standing alone in her fight for justice, she is leading a movement to fix lives that are broken.
Buy the Stickers !!
Is the show scheduled for April still on?
Ever come to the lone Star Roundup and break down? You probably saw Ronnie, or somebody like him I know times are tough for everybody right now but if you could lend a hand to an amazing mechanic I would appreciate it!
So I know the show was canceled for this year but I’m sure some people had hotels reserved and had plans to come to Austin. Well just because the show is canceled does that mean we can’t cruise Congress?? I looked forward to the show every year but especially the cruise down Congress. I love my city and love to hear those exhausts rumbling up and down Congress. I’ve been working on my 51 to cruise it for the show and I’m still down to cruise if anyone else wants to!?
Bummed,,,,,last tonight I should’ve been getting prepared to be bushed out from at least three big preparties to kick off the big Lonestar Roundup. Should have been setting the alarm for an early morning start for a day full of parties before heading to head to the big show and two days and night of awesomeness ,,,the weather is going to be good. The car is all cleaned and detailed,,,but,,,,nooooo🦠 Hopefully when September gets here the show will be just as good as it would have been
Well the Austin Rodeo just canceled first time In 20 years...............
Any coronavirus worries? I just saw the Houston Rodeo canceled?
Will the show be canceled due to the new City council 2500 limit on gatherings. I hope not
Will the show still go on since Austin has banned large gatherings till May 1st?
What's the status of the event now that Austin has decided to prohibit events over 2500 people?
