The carriages and horses are back in the barn until next year. Santa is getting ready for his big day and our volunteers are resting up. But we wanted to thank everyone that visited us this year for helping to create a picture perfect holiday season. You donated to organizations, shopped at our local shoppes, ate at our town restaurants, brought Toys for Tots, and most importantly wore your mask.
We hope that we brought our community joy and a reminder of the reason for the season.

❄️We had a few Saturdays with temperate weather. It looks like tomorrow is going to be chilly. We are having carriage rides, but want to remind everyone that we are only able to accommodate the first 35 groups. We have 2 carriages, and our horses need breaks and care throughout the night. We will be back!!! Based on the interest we will look into increased carriage capacity.
❄️Tomorrow Santa will arrive on MainStreet at 5pm. He will be available for photos in front of the Courthouse. He stays until 8pm
❄️Live music from 5-7pm in the Armory Courtyard.

❄️Visit with the Snow Sisters from 6-8 at the corner of Main and Office Street.

As always we encourage you to visit our shoppes and restaurants while visiting our town.

For the safety of both participants and volunteers as well as our horses we are unable to have carriage rides tonight as originally planned. The risk of refreeze after dark creates an environment that creates a hazard for the animals. We ALL appreciate your understanding (especially Savannah).

Another Saturday night of Winter Wonderland in the books. It looks like the secret is out and we had many visitors to our beautiful town. We welcome everyone to enjoy our light displays, vintage truck, Santa and of course a carriage ride. But in return we ask for patience, understanding and a face mask! Next Saturday will be our last weekend with events, we look forward to seeing you then.

~We are a completely volunteer run organization.
~Although we doubled our efforts and offerings from last year, we are operating within a pandemic, with limitations. Your understanding is appreciated.
~We will be back next year and hope to be able to grow, without a Pandemic!

❄️A note about carriage rides❄️
We do our very best to accommodate as many riders as we can in an evening. Please understand that we can not and will not over schedule rides for the health and safety of our animals. They require breaks and care.

Our partners have made it possible to offer carriage rides free of charge. They are available on a first come first served basis. When a line begins in front of the Armory we will assign times for riders to return. Please use that time to enjoy our town, its restaurants and shoppes.

2 Saturdays until Christmas! Next Saturday the 12 we will again have plenty of holiday joy for you and your family.

❄️Santa escorted by Miss Maryland and Miss Bel Air at 5pm, will arrive on Main Street. He will collect letters in person or at the Mailbox in front of the Armory. Children that include their address will receive a response from the Big Man himself. Jump in Santa’s sleigh for a photo.
(Sleigh is sanitized between each family and Santa is masked.)

❄️1959 Chevrolet Apache straight from the tree farm ready to be the perfect back drop for your photos.

❄️Stop by and say “Hello” to the Snow Sisters on Main and Office Street.

❄️Holiday music throughout the Downtown area. Including Live Jazz being played on the Outdoor Armory Park Stage.

❄️Carriage rides are offered on a first come first served basis, they are complimentary. The rides run from 5-9 and when a line begins we will assign times so that you can see the sights while you wait. You must be present to be added to the list.

❄️Please choose this time to shop our local shoppes. These businesses like us all have had a rough year, your support is invaluable.

Hey all, this Saturday for the drive-in movie in the parking lot next to Suzie's we have put together a CARHOP menu to make your lives a bit easier! Our full menu will be available as well, but wanted to create some fun family sized packages! If you can, please pre-order so we can have your food ready when you get to the parking lot. We can either bring it to your car or you can pick it up at the restaurant. If you have any questions please give us a call at 443-371-7993.

WALK UP WINDOW FOR WINTER WONDERLAND!
Last Saturday we missed out on gettin our delish hot cider and hot chocolate in everyones hands, sooooo.... This Saturday we will have a walk up window! Feel free to pre-order from our app or just walk up for a grab and go! All drinks will be available from our window but we suggest the warm ones!!

Let the Winter Wonderland Festivities Begin! ❄️

Ring in the Holiday Season by checking out all that Main Street has to offer this year!

● The lights come on at 5pm! Check out both of our displays at Armory Park and the Courthouse! ✨
● Wave to Santa as he arrives on Main Street this Saturday with the Bel Air Town Commissioners. 🎅
● Drop off your Letter to Santa at our Winter Wonderland Mailbox. All letters that include a name and address will receive a response from Santa! ✉️
● Grab a socially-distanced photo with Santa! Masks must be worn for the photos. 😷
● Donate an unwrapped gift to Toys for Tots at the Armory. 🎁
● See The Snow Sisters as they visit Winter Wonderland. 👑
● Listen to carolers and live music throughout the Main Street area. 🎼
● Enjoy a carriage ride through Downtown Bel Air! Carriage rides will leave from the Armory. Please check in with a volunteer and they will assign a ride time. Visit our local businesses and do some holiday shopping while you wait! 🐴

⚠️ In accordance with the governors orders, masks MUST be worn as 6ft distancing can not be assured.

🧼 Carriage handles will be wiped between riders.

The lights will go on at 5pm, Welcome Santa as he arrives by carriage on Main Street as soon as Main Street is illuminated!

This year we have 2 carriages to better accommodate more riders. Please be aware that members of the same household may ride together. Due to COVID we will not be combining riders. Carriages will leave from the front of the Armory on Main Street from 5-9 pm. You must be present to be added to our list. Our “reservation” list will begin at 5pm on the Saturday of Winter Wonderland. We do not reserve spots before that time.
We ask guests to socially distance while waiting, and after a time is given, please enjoy our lights, restaurants and local shops. Rides are about 8 minutes and are complimentary.
Tips will be accepted to support local organizations, musicians, and causes throughout the town and we will be accepting donations for Toys for Tots!
**Dont forget to drop off your letter to Santa! If you include an address you will receive a response from the big man himself via mail**
We want everyone to have a joyous time while visiting but need everyone to wear a mask, even outside and be patient! We are all navigating unchartered territory right now! ❄️🌲❤️

Tanglao Carriage Driving

Today was a busy day of harness fitting. The teams had their harnesses adjusted to fit them perfectly with the carriages used for rides (vs the carriages we train in) and got some new parts to their harnesses as well.

First event coming up for us is the first night of Winter Wonderland in Bel Air!!

Tanglao Carriage Driving

And now, the introduction you’ve all been waiting for in the line up of horses that’ll be at Winter Wonderland in Bel Air. The one. The only. Savannah!

This is the horse that started all this madness. She was bred in California and has shown all over the USA. She’s completed single, in a pair, and in a 4-in-hand. She will teach beginners or be competitive for the most advanced driver. She is God’s gift to the world... my absolute soul mate.
