It’s the last week of school, BCHS! We’ve almost made it through hopefully what will be the most challenging year ever! Despite all the craziness, there were still MANY good things to come out of the 20-21 school year, so we are sharing some of those moments this week with a little series we’re calling “So Much to Celebrate!” Keep encouraging each other as you finish out the year strong and remember it’s a great day to be a Bulldog!

Sydney Tilma was living a normal life as a high school athlete up until last summer, when doctors discovered she had a brain tumor. But the two-sport athlete has made a strong recovery, excelling on both the softball diamond and the golf course once again.

Having our senior class walk across this stage to accept their diplomas tonite was incredible. Thank you to the families, friends, staff and board of education for celebrating these amazing kids with us. Class of 2020, thank you for showing us how to use a unique lens to see life, and for being so gracious and collaborative and just awesome. You will be missed at BCHS, but never forgotten!

Yesterday the class of 2020 drove through our parking lot for the last time to drop off computers, books and pick up anything that may have been left behind in the building. Staff members were outside in tents, teachers came to congratulate and say goodbye to the kids, and families showed up with signs, noisemakers, and cheers to celebrate this group of kids. Class of 2020, without a doubt this year did not go the way any of us hoped but we know you didn’t let it stop you now and it won’t stop you in the future. You WILL be written about. You WILL have great stories to share. You WILL do big things. And you WILL always be a Byron Center Bulldog 🐾 Congratulations!!!

Thank you so much to the teachers and staff for all that you are doing to keep our kids safe this year and for doing everything you can to support them in their learning in a time where there is so much change and disruption. I'm sure that it can not be easy. Please know that you are very much appreciated and our kids will be stronger because of your efforts.

I wish Gerry crane was alive to see this momentous occasion.
Does anyone know when the incoming seniors are going to take the SAT's that they missed this past spring?
Does anyone know the time for the Powderpuff Volleyball game on January 27th?

Does the High School have Booster Sales? I'd love to see you guys sell the Football Jerseys...I graduated in 92 and have lost the one I bought when I was in school...and here's another query...how come the Family Fare at Metro sells GRANDVILLE Bulldog stuff but not Byron Center? The FF in Byron sells BC Merch...the FF at Metro isn't even in Grandville...lol
My name is Ken Ritz, I have a great opportunity to help you raise money for your organization. I've been hosting trivia nights for the last 4 years in Wayland and together we've raised THOUSANDS of dollars for their senior grad party nights. We raised over $2,000 in last year's event! It's A LOT of fun and very interactive with all of the questions and answers presented on a video screen. It's mostly pop culture questions from the 80's up until today. Hit me up and I'll give you more details. But, be quick, I expect my open dates to be gone soon.
Parents and the community should know and have the right to know that the administration knowingly allows pedophiles to attend their High School
