This year a short film just leaped out of the pack. In addition to telling its whimsical boy meets girl love story, this film contains extraordinary production design with an eyebending use of colour in its set design and costumes; a camera movement in and out of a very uniquely created environment - and on top of all this, it is narrated by a particular clever chicken. I’m happy to announce that the Director’s Award for Artistic Achievement goes to „The Jackpot“ directed by Alice von Gwinner." – Robert Tieman
