We are a Conference Center; with multiple options for banquets small to large. Our Gallery Room is a great option for groups up to 60, with full media capabilities; The Grand Hall easily hosts up to 100, and the gym will seat up to 320. The Community Center at Chatham has a full restaurant style kitchen for use by you or a caterer of your choice. On site equipment like sound, media, staging, lighting enables us to transform and adapt to most any event from wedding receptions, to concerts. Birthday parties are more fun, with access to our games and gym equipment. And even more important, is the personal service you will receive in planning and coordinating your special event. The Community Center offers a variety of classes that encourage a healthy lifestyle; from Aerobics to ZUMBA Fitness classes. Those who enjoy walking for health, enjoy our climate controlled gym, where 18 laps counts as a mile! Priority is given to education of our workforce and Computer classes are offered in our lab, in partnership with the Institute of Advanced Learning and Research. We love music at the Center and host a Bluegrass Concert every Thursday evening with local band 57 Express Band & friends. Other local bands find a welcome stage, lighting and sound equipment at their disposal. Special concerts and Open Mic nights are are planned throughout the year.
