Through the art of dance, we can share God’s word, encourage, minister and teach dancers to worship in spirit and in truth…. to bring a praise of ADORATION to our Savior and King, Jesus Christ! Praise Dance consists of many different types of dance…jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, etc…all in moderation. Modern dance is used but used in modesty. Class time is very fun and energetic, sometimes a little goofy J but most of all.. it is a time of ministry, a time to build relationships, a time to feel safe, loved, appreciated, and respected! Modesty and purity is encouraged! APDA’s goal is to build young ladies self-esteem through respecting her body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, using interpretive dance to bring glory and honor to Jesus, dancing in freedom and celebrating the beauty of dance! 💙 This year, APDA, had the honor of being sponosored by Mike Giorgianni with Danville Home Buyers! His sponsorship allowed us to purchase these anniversary t-shirts for all our dancers, as well, as our recital programs. We couldn’t have done it all without him and his generosity! Thank you Mike Giorgianni for all you do for us! If anyone is looking to sell their home, be sure to contact him! He is fair, honest, kind, professional and easy to work with!

🙋♀️I need your help!! Next week is Jolie’s 40th birthday 🤫 so I’m asking that all dancers (past and present) send a note and a picture. It can be an old picture of you with her or just a current picture of yourself. I’m going to post them in the dance studio and SURPRISE her when she comes in to do our first virtual class on Tuesday. Between not having our dancers in class and her birthday being during all this craziness, I know this will brighten her day! So please send a birthday note and picture by Saturday to [email protected] or drop it in the comments below.. And please feel free to tag dancers who may not see this. Thank you!! 🤗 P. S. We've had some people wondering so we thought we would clarify a little more about the virtual classes we will be offering....
During the virtual classes, we will be teaching the routines that will be danced for the recital. We are planning on and praying that we will be able to move forward with our Recital in August. Once we are able to have in-person classes, we will try and review what was learned in the virtual classes, but if you/your child wants to dance in the recital, we highly recommend joining us for the virtual classes.

We have a special exciting announcement!!! Living Waters is moving to a new building location, which means APDA is too!! It’s right down the street (still in Chatham) and only 5 minutes away), and will allow for more classes and services to be offered so we are very excited about this!! We will have an open house to allow everyone to come check out our new location and celebrate it’s opening with us. So stay tuned for that date!!

Class participation minimum: 5 students/class
Class participation maximum: 20 students/class
•Grades K-2 (5:00-5:30)
•Grades 3-5 (5:30-6:00)

Class attire: Casual modest clothing suitable for physical activity. Preference for participants to wear clothing that exposes the ankles or is fitted at the ankles to allow for clear view of footwork.

I have finally sent out the email with the information for purchasing the group photos I took on rehearsal night, but just in case some of you might have missed the email or cyberspace ate it, I am attaching the link with detailed instructions below. 1) Open this post on a laptop or desktop and click "view photos."
2) Open the gallery and click on the very first group photo. At the top of the image, you will see a button that says "buy photo" with a cart icon beside it. Click it.
3) In a light grey font, you will see the word "digital." It is the third word from the left. Click that.
4) You will see two options. The first option is $15 and will get you access to ALL of the images. The second option is $5 and only gets you ONE image. If you are choosing the second option, you will need to go back out to the gallery and pick the one photo you are purchasing and repeat steps 1-3.
5) Once you have added your option into the cart, click "view cart" and continue with purchasing.
6) Once you have bought the images, you will be sent a link that will allow you to download the gallery. From there, you have full rights to the images to print and share them as much as you would like. Also, once you purchase the watermark will go away.
