Twirling Baton
This TLG @ Home movement challenge is great for all ages! Your child can work on their fine motor skills while they twirl their baton. All you need is something like a tapping stick (pool noodle, paper towel roll, cooking utensil)! Have fun! 😊
Balancing Babes
Join Mr. Robert for another TLG @ Home Parent/Child class! The vestibular system is your control center of balance for your body, so have fun tapping into those senses with your "balancing babe!" All you will need for class is something similar to a scarf (napkin, small towel, etc), a ball, and some bubbbles. Have fun!!
Not being able to get into the gym is hard, especially for instructors! Miss Marissa has been practicing her handstands at home. Comment a picture or video and show us your TLG @ Home skills!
Mr. Chad Sing-a-long
Join Mr. Chad for a fun sing-a-long!
Alright, Grade School kids! Time for a TLG @ Home class! Our theme is “ Kickin’ it with Kindness” and we are going to focus on being kind to our bodies. It is most important to try your best, and not get too upset over mistakes. Please make sure you have a safe space and have fun!
Time for another TLG @ Home movement challenge! Grab a butterfly (scarf, napkin, towel, etc.) and let’s turn it into a peanut butter butterfly! We do have a few gymnastics skills to try, so make sure your child is in a safe area. Have fun!
3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF! Grab your astronaut helmet and join Miss Kaitlyn on a TLG @ Home space adventure! This is a pre-k virtual class, and all you need is a moon rock (soft/ squishy ball) and a spaceship (soft chair or couch). Show us your astronaut in the comments!
Have fun counting with this “Let’s Build, Let’s Play” TLG @ Home LEGO activity! If you don’t have large LEGO blocks, that’s okay! This video is geared more towards 2-3 year olds, your child is older and wants to try, maybe they can count even higher! They can also try jumping over the bricks and galloping around. Have fun!
PC 5
Time for a TLG @ Home Parent/Child class! Knowing where different body parts are and how they work is so important. Today's class will work with your child to build a sensory map of their body! Pretty neat, right? All you will need for class today is something like a set of sticks (chopsticks, cooking utensils, paper towel rolls), a beanbag or rolled up pair of socks, a ball, and bubbles! Have fun!
Ready for another TLG @ Home video? Grab your “silly sticks” and get ready to tap, count, and find different body parts! Your silly sticks can be paper towel rolls, cooking utensils, anything you can find. Have fun!
