Important Notice:

With the recent pronouncements by Dallas County and piggybacked by Duncanville, for the safety and future health of our members and guests, we are closing the club to ALL
EVENTS AND EVERYONE, effective immediately. The initial closing period is 2 weeks, but this will be reassessed closer to March 29.

We will communicate logistics to you later, as what to do about classes, refunds, etc.

For now, DTCDC will be sending a mass email through Eventbrite to alert all class and show-n-go attendees of our decision.

The word "unprecedented" is best descriptive of our current nation and world situation, so knowing what is best for all of us is very subjective. But even having one person get sick at our club is too many. And the risk of exposure is even worse, as that could affect many more people.

I hope each of you is doing what is best for you and your family.

Please share this information with others in case their emails get caught in junk mail.

We are learning so much in class! Today we worked on loose leash walking, sit, lay down, and door manners (don’t rush through the door when it’s opened)

Beginner graduation from September 💖 I’m so happy that we found this training club. We’re ready for the next step!
Puppy graduation from July. She earned her STAR puppy title 💖 we both enjoyed the class.
Great day at the pet calming oily class! Thanks to all those who came out and big thanks to Sandi Myers, Vicki Jackson and Lisa Wharton for helping set up and clean up today!
DTCDC members: looking for any assistance in finding a forever home for an amazing, high potential dog currently at City of Irving Animal shelter. I’ve worked with this dog (Mancha) on two occasions and he’d make a great pet or sports dog for someone capable of managing a high drive dog. Mancha is listed as “urgent” due to his high activity level. My observations: · No human or dog aggression seen · Very strong · Very high tug drive, ball drive not observed · Biddable · Great work ethic, he wore me out · HW negative · Beautiful dog · Very friendly Background from the Shelter: Mancha is an approximately 2 year old male Catahoula leopard dog-mix. He is around 60 pounds. Little is known about Mancha’s history prior to arriving at the shelter in October of 2016. He was adopted but returned due to his boisterous nature. Mancha gets along well with other dogs and is currently sharing his kennel with another Catahoula-mix. Mancha needs help working on his leash manners, jumping (up on people), and being less mouthy when he is playing. Link to Mancha's info on City of Irving's website: http://ws.petango.com/webservices/adoptablesearch/wsAdoptableAnimalDetails.aspx?id=31630432&css=http://www.petango.com/WebServices/adoptablesearch/css/styles.css&PopUp=true Link to video of Mancha: https://youtu.be/IpUZF6NWDrA
