Sending all of the positive vibes to seniors graduating this year! Congrats Devon Schroeder, Chelsea Schaf, Kendra Lepp, Berlina Walker, and Ryan Dettbarn.
It’s crazy to think I’ve been teaching long enough to see past students earning their PhD’s, attending graduate school, or starting families of their own. I hope you all keep singing and playing. Love to you all

Menomonie Theater Guild

Greetings Menomonie Theater Guild Supporters!

I have the unfortunate task today of announcing that we will be canceling our fall production of Black Friday due to COVID-19 concerns and the recent announcement from The Mabel Tainter detailing their plans to remain closed through the fall. We are disappointed, of course, but the safety of our cast, crew, and patrons always takes priority. Because this show has garnered especially high interest due to its local ties and beloved past performances, we guarantee that at some point we WILL BE STAGING THIS SHOW. We just are not sure when, yet.

If you currently have tickets for Black Friday, you have three options:

1. You may make your ticket a donation (we will send you a receipt for tax purposes)
2. You may hang on to your current tickets for our future Black Friday production (your seats will simply be transferred to the new corresponding date – you will be able to exchange if necessary)
3. We will issue you a refund in the form of a check

As many of you probably already know, arts organizations are hurting. The MTG is not immune. We have not been able to stage a show since February, and 90% of our income is reliant on ticket sales, which means we have been deeply affected.

Our board has been working hard at finding creative ways to work around the pandemic situation and continue to offer opportunities to the community, but we need to try to retain funds as much as possible to continue to survive as an organization. Thus, we would greatly prefer that you choose option 1 or 2, however we do understand that this is a rough time financially for many and will refund your money if necessary. Please simply email us at [email protected] or call 715 231 7529 to let us know what you would like to do regarding your tickets and we will take it from there!

Thank you so much for your continued patronage and support. Like Alexander Hamilton, we are prepared to "do what it takes to survive" and continue to provide quality theatrical experiences to the Menomonie Area!

Be well,

Charis Collins,
Executive Assistant to the Board,
Menomonie Theater Guild
