Please help us recoup the money lost from not being able to hold our shows this year because of COVD-19! Just make a donation for the amount you would usually spend on your tickets on our website at www.move4tm.org now and that money will go to the American Cancer Society to help those diagnosed with cancer and help fund vital research to find a cure for all cancers. ACS needs your help now more than ever! Many of us who raise money for ACS cannot because of the pandemic and that hinders the programs they can offer to people fighting cancer.

Please be as generous as you can and share this post with everyone on your list. Together we can make a difference in the life of someone battling cancer. Thank you and stay safe!

Due to the pandemic we were unable to hold our 2021 shows which means we couldn’t raise money to help those diagnosed with cancer and help fund vital research to hopefully find a cure for all cancers. The American Cancer Society needs your help NOW more than ever before! Many of us who usually raise money through social events like Relay for Life and other fundraisers, are unable to because we do not want to further spread the COVD-19 virus. We need EVERYONE to pitch in, even if it’s just a small amount. Numerous small amounts add up to a big amount!

So instead of buying a ticket to our shows this year, please make a donation for the same amount you would have spent on your tickets. You may not be able to see a show, but you are helping out those who are fighting the battle against cancer!

Normally at this time we would be in the midst of our final weekend of Move for the Movement shows in Andover, MA. As we all know, these are NOT normal times and as much as we are saddened that we cannot hold our shows due to the pandemic, we know it’s the right thing to do at this time to try and stop further spreading the COVD-19 virus.

Even though we are not able to raise money for the American Cancer Society through our shows, we still need to continue the effort to raise money for ACS to help those diagnosed with cancer and to help fund vital research to hopefully some day find a cure for all cancers. In the coming weeks and months, the M4TM team along with the Relay for Life team of Rosie’s Riveters will be having online fundraisers in an effort to continue the fight. We plan on offering M4TM apparel with a unique design on a sweatshirt and sweatpants like we usually offer at our shows, plus an opportunity to make a donation on our website. We are in the process of working out the details and will be posting those offers and details on our InstaGram and pages within the next few weeks so please follow and Like our pages to make sure you see them.

Hopefully you will all make a donation in some form to help us keep up the fight against cancer. Thank you for your time and stay safe and healthy!

It is with a heavy heart that we will have to cancel all Move for the Movement 2021 shows. It breaks our heart to do so because the entire team looks forward to holding the shows, raising money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and most importantly seeing all of your dancers, teachers and parents come together in one place to help beat the terrible disease known as cancer. To see all of those smiling faces and the amazing dancing that each studio and company bring each year is truly inspiring and it will be missed dearly.

Some have asked us “why don’t you just do a virtual M4TM?” and the answer is that we have experienced some virtual shows and it just is not the same to us, not even close. The biggest component of our event is not the dancing, it’s the personal connection between the dancers working together for a common cause. There’s no judging and no competition. Just artistry, love and hope, and that can’t be achieved “virtually” in our opinion.

We truly appreciate and are grateful for all of you who signed on for 2021 and kept hope alive that we will be able to hold our shows. Without your participation these past years, M4TM would not be the successful event it is year after year. We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!

Even though M4TM will not happen in 2021, we are working on some other ideas to raise money for the American Cancer Society through online promotions, such as apparel perhaps. We do not have anything definite as of yet, but please follow our Facebook and InstaGram pages for future announcements.

Thank you for your time and we hope you all stay safe and healthy, and with luck we will be able to hold our shows in 2022!

We want to thank all of the studios and companies who participated in our 6 Move for the Movement fundraiser shows! You all are an inspiration to us because of your dedication and passion for dance. We were very impressed with the level of talent that crossed our stages and are pretty sure our audiences thoroughly enjoyed the shows! If it weren’t for you, these shows would not be possible!
