Hi everyone! We wanted to give you an update on our current tentative plan for the studio.

We would like to start back to finish this current season in August. Recital date is to be determined. Just wanted you to have an idea of what we are planning. As always, this is subject to change. We will provide more information when possible. Thank you for your understanding!

Hi everyone! We wanted to give you an update. Since we follow the school system, we will remain closed at this time. Your children’s safety and well-being is our first priority. We are unsure of a date for us to open back up but you’ll be the first to know when we figure it out. Hug your babies for us! We miss them!

We would LOVE to see our students in their recital costumes! Dress up and take some pictures and send them to us for us to post on our page! We can’t wait to see them!!

We are currently trying to send videos. However, our phones are giving us difficulties so we are trying to send them through Facebook messenger. It will only let us send one at a time and it’s taking a while for them to go through. If you do not get videos today, you’ll get them this weekend. Please check back with us Monday if you don’t receive it by then. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.

Hey GB&D family! We sure did miss seeing you each week and hope you and your families are well. We would like to encourage you to keep practicing your baton/dance/tumbling skills while we are unable to be together. We are working on gathering recital videos to send out so our students can continue to practice at home. We realize this will have no comparison to our face-to-face meetings, however it’s what will have to do for the time being. We would love to see pictures or videos of your child practicing at home! Please post and tag us or send them to us for us to share. We hope you all continue to stay well. We will send more information as we receive it!

With Governor Kemp’s order for Georgia Public Schools to remain closed until April 24th, GB&D will also remain closed until then. Our hope is to be able to return on April 27th. However, this is subject to change pending any additional information received. We will keep you updated as we gather more information. Please take care and stay home so we can get rid of this awful virus. We miss our sweet students.

We have been informed that we will not be able to have our recital on May 3rd at FCHS. We are working diligently to secure another date and will announce it as soon as we can. Unfortunately, everything is up in the air at the moment and these decisions and details can not be finalized until further notice. We will keep you posted as we gain new information. Thank you for your understanding!

Due to the continued closure of the Franklin County School System, GB&D will NOT have classes or pictures on Monday, March 30th or Tuesday, March 31st as previously mentioned. We will follow the school systems schedule. We will also be closed on April 6th for Spring Break. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Due to the closing of the Franklin County School System, Georgia Baton & Dance will be closed on Monday, March 16th and Monday, March 23rd. Make up dates to be announced. Recital pictures have been moved until March 30th and 31st (subject to change). More details coming soon. Please share with other GB&D parents/students.

Mandy Grizzle is taking Easter pics at GB&D! Below is some information from Mandy.

I’m excited to let you in on my Easter sessions this year. Thanks to my wonderful sister-in-law Savannah Lauren Thomas we have the cutest Holland Lop Bunny along with a baby chick, duck and goose that are being hatched just in time for us! I have big-big plans to make the cutest Easter set so that I can create some magic with [of course] a great reflection pond custom built by yours truly. [This should definitely be interesting. 😊] Let me know if you would like to book a spot on Saturday, March 14th beginning at 9:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Georgia Baton & Dance in Lavonia. $60 for 4 images. Can’t wait to share this awesome experience with some equally awesome kids.
