As we navigate a COVID Fall 2020 semester, 20-30 folks rehearse outside each week and then we conduct our virtual rehearsals also so that all may participate! Here we are with The Parting Glass! (I’m sitting in the back so it’s not very loud) We will launch our concert video on Sunday, December 6, at 4pm!
The chorale is deep into preperation for their virtual concert entitled "Bright Morning Stars," which will premiere Sunday December 6th. Here is a preview of one of the piece on that concert, Joseph Flummerfelt's sublime arrangement of "Danny Boy." Enjoy!
Last evening for hybrid rehearsal together with the at home members as it’s getting darker earlier. Next week outside will be at 5 pm and at home at 6 pm.

It’s time for Drive In Chorale! Due to the resident genius of our director Max Nolin, we parked socially distanced and used direct FM to share accompaniment and direction! This is how we get to still be a community of singers, to share our love of singing, and to make Loudoun Chorale a part of our members’ lives!

In the first episode of "Conversations with the Chorale," Max sits down with Chaequan Anderson.
Glassbrook Vocal Ensemble Founder & Artistic Director , Chaequan Anderson, is an active choral conductor and music educator based in Princeton, New Jersey. Chaequan has varied choral experience directing school, community youth and children, and professional choirs. In Addition to his work with Glassbrook, Chaequan is Director of Middle School Choirs at Montclair Kimberley Academy, Intermediate Choir Director at Trenton Children’s Chorus, Cantus Choir Director at Westminster Conservatory, and Associate Director/ Conductor of Cantores with the Princeton Girlchoir.
He has performed with several choral ensembles in the area, including the Philadelphia Orchestra Symphonic Choir, Princeton Pro Musica, and VOICES Chorale of Hopewell. Additionally, he was a member of the highly acclaimed Westminster Choir of Westminster Choir College.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Kodály Certification from Westminster Choir College, and professional memberships with American Choral Directors Association, National Association for Music Educators and Organization of American Kodály Educators

The Loudoun Chorale is a community-based arts organization which was created to respond to the need of local performers to offer quality music presentations on a continuing basis. The Chorale seeks to serve the community by continuing the long tradition of local vocal-arts groups to keep alive the musical treasures of the past, as well as providing a venue for today's musical experience. The Chorale does not require auditions and welcomes all who share the love of vocal music, either as performers or audience.
