Mom's food: when I'm home she won't let me get close to the stove! And just like it was growing up, the entire family eats the food SHE likes! 😁 (not complaining here!)

Here are some traditional local pork sausage (very savory and not a lot of spices in the meat mixture) and greens. The greens are my favorite! There are various varieties but here is a bitter-sweet combination of saltwort (I looked the translation up) and a type of chard from the sugar beet family. It is braised with onions until very tender and delicious ❀
