The Cornerstone Music Conservatory, founded in 1970 by its Director of Music Education, Ann Pittel, is a leader in creating innovative programs for toddlers through college prep. Through many years of experience and extensive research and development, we are able to offer the very finest, most proven music programs for you and your child. Preparatory Classes (ages 7 months - 4 1/2 years, grouped by age) and the Harmony Road Piano Course (beginners, ages 4 1/2 - 8 years, grouped by age) continue to be some of the most popular programs at our Conservatory. Harmony Road provides the opportunity for students to develop a true enjoyment of music and confidence in performing keyboard and piano repertoire. Private lessons, beginning to advanced, are currently available for most instruments for both children and adults. The Conservatory provides performance opportunities (recitals, workshops, concerts) throughout the year for students taking group or private classes and enthusiastically fosters creative musicianship experiences, including improvising and composing original music culminating in the COMPOSERFEST, an annual special presentation concert! Cornerstone also presents other special group classes: Fiddlesticks and Junior Strings (preparatory strings programs), String, Guitar and Percussion Workshops. Ask about our enchanting Musical Birthday Parties. They’re educational and lots of fun! Create your own custom party filled with exciting games, songs, stories, puppetry, costumes, instruments, and musical gifts at very affordable rates. Call our administrative office to schedule a time to observe or participate in a complimentary group class at no charge. Cornerstone is proud to share its facilities with the Allegro Music Foundation which sponsors the Westside Youth Orchestra and the newly forming Allegro Children’s Chorale. Again, welcome to Cornerstone!
