Practices will now be open to non-students on Tuesdays starting 11/20 until the end of the semester! (so up to 11/27 practice)

Before attending session, all participants MUST submit all parts of the attached waiver completed in physical form to the RCC office at 1026 W 34th St, Los Angeles, CA 90089.

The organization that oversees clubs at USC is very strict about this and so if one has not completed the form, we will be unable to admit said person into session.

We will have updates regarding sessions for the next semester following winter break.

Thanks for reading and keep breakin!

Breaking, bboys, and bgirls have a long history at USC, dating back to 2007 when Street Dance Society was founded.

However, it's time for a fresh start. As part of our rebranding process, USC's premiere breakdance club will now be known by Soul Cal Breaking.

Thanks for the continued support! Be on the lookout for performances and workshops in the near future!

Hi everybody.

A couple of weeks ago the involvement fair was cancelled due to bad weather, but the school's throwing a rescheduled involvement fair on February 2nd (this Thursday) from 11 am - 2 pm.

So if you wanted to check us out last month but couldn't, want to make some new friends, catch up with old friends, or get a refresher on the agenda for this semester, come check us out this Thursday at Trousdale.

01/13/2017

Hi everybody. Hope you all had a great winter break, even if it was a little short. We're excited to be back and have a couple of announcements to make.

Starting this semester, Jet Kwok, a man of many talents, will be the president for SDS and I in turn will advise him.

Unfortunately involvement fair was cancelled today, but here's an idea of what to expect this semester.

Sessions will now be on Monday and Thursday from 9 pm - 11 pm at the basement of PED.
Note: 1st session is tonight. Next Monday is MLK so there will be no session next Monday. Expect sessions on Monday and Thursday in a given week unless stated otherwise.

In addition, we plan on continuing weekly workshops that focus on fundamentals and require no prior experience. We will announce an official time and place soon.

Lastly, we expect to participate in on-campus events throughout the semester and make announcements when we do so. Events in the past have included Trojan Dance Marathon, USC's Best Dance Crew, etc.

Have a great semester and looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Welcome back to school! Sorry this page has been inactive for a while, I wanted to make a couple of quick announcements about the changes to session and some upcoming events planned!

Sessions will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 pm - 11 pm at the basement of PED.

In order to make sessions more inclusive and encourage people with all experience levels and styles to dance, we will be focusing session on all styles to encourage our dancers to freestyle to a wider variety of music.

Other than our regular sessions, we will host workshops on Mondays in Kaufman (details are being worked out) on hip hop dance, as well as throw an all styles jam sometime later in the semester, so stay tuned for those.

Thank you for your support as always and see you guys at our first session TONIGHT (August 23) at 9pm!!
