East Los Angeles natives have managed to do something that's not all that common in modern alternative music: create a sound that's simultaneously familiar and completely different from anything out there. Graphic artist, Mr. Butler, was commissioned to come up with giallo-inspired pieces for Mondo Hollywood August event that worked in elements of posters reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock, Umberto Lenzi and Sergio Martino films. I think he did a mighty fine job.
