A note to Jeff Bock regarding Solo's soft opening. You're overthinking it. It's not a release date issue, nor is it a fatigue issue. It's a crappy movie issue. People go see good movies regardless of the time of year and they'll ignore bad movies just as well. #1. Was the world clamoring for this prequel? No! #2. You can't top Harrison Ford as Han Solo so why would someone even try?
