2A Gallery | An alternative art gallery in DTLA

Things are always hopping in Downtown Los Angeles, but the season is REALLY something special for Dinner in Los Angeles!

There are two spots left for next Sunday's Thai dinner and private tour of 2A Gallery's current show "Support Systems." (info at www.2agallery.com)

And the following Sunday, April 6, Dinner in Los Angeles takes place at – wait for it – brunchtime! In addition to the excellent meal we have planned, guests will enjoy a special treat. Both artists whose work appears in "Support Systems" – j.frede and Joshua Petker – will be in attendance at brunch and will give a talk in the gallery about their show.

It’s been a big week at Dinner in Los Angeles. Our second dinner took place Sunday with 12 guests from both coasts in attendance. They enjoyed the Mexican menu (not an enchilada in sight) and had a private viewing of "Love Is In The Air," the group show currently up at 2A Gallery. We suspect that the guests would have enjoyed themselves even without the margaritas (hand-squeezed lime juice, natch), but the beverages sure didn’t hurt.

And then we were thrilled to receive some East Coast ink on Tuesday. The New York Post saw fit to tell their 576,711 readers (avg. daily circulation) about both us AND 2A Gallery and we hope to see a lot of New Yorkers hereabouts very soon.
