Good afternoon everyone!
This is Brian with HalloWhedonCon 2020. If you were told your badges were being rolled over to WhedonCon 2021, and that you are getting free access to HalloWhedonCon 2020 as a thank you, this post is for you.
There are a few people who have been having trouble finding the voucher for their 2020 badges, so we wanted to help everyone find them. On August 20th 2020, an email went out from Growtix regarding HalloWhedonCon 2020. This email came from "[email protected]", and had the subject "HalloWhedonCon 2020 Product Voucher!". There is a link in that email that will take you to a GrowTix purchase page, where you fill out the requested info to redeem the voucher at no cost.
Once that step has been completed, there will be a second email that you receive from GrowTix. It will come from the same email, but will have the subject "HalloWhedonCon 2020 Order Confirmation". This is the email that shows your order is confirmed, and will have the info you need to join our online stream on October 24th. You will also be able to find the access code on the GrowTix website after logging into your account there.
If you need help finding any of these emails, or have any other questions about your HalloWhedonCon 2020 access, please email [email protected], and we can look up your order and resend the email if you can't find it. Thank you.

Your support of WhedonCon and HalloWhedonCon helps the local children attend the Wooten Center after school and summer programs.
The Wooten Center officially became a nonprofit, public benefit corporation on September 28, 1990. Today is our Founder's Day, celebrating 30 years of service!
Our founder, Myrtle Faye Rumph, worked with family and friends to establish a youth center in honor of her son, killed in a drive-by shooting at age 35.
We commemorate this time each year by remembering our history and our mission for a "safe and nurturing environment committed to good citizenship and academic excellence."
President Barack Obama presented Mrs. Rumph with one of 13 Presidential Citizens Medals in 2010 in recognition of her grassroots work at the center.
Mrs. Rumph retired as our board president in 2009 at age 79 after 20 years of service. She died in 2015 from heart failure.

Our Story
WhedonCon is a Whedonverse convention, designed by fans for fans, with the aim of harnessing the power of fandom to raise money for charities while creating a fun, interactive environment for attendees and guests.
A Portion of 2020 Event Proceeds Go To Los Angeles LGBT Center which since 1969 has led the fight for the most vulnerable within the diverse LGBT+ community by providing programs spanning from housing, medical care, advocacy, community, and education. AND In Memory of Ron Glass, the Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center, a youth center that since 1989 provides a neighborhood approach to the revitalization and empowerment of a community in crisis. A safe and nurturing environment committed to good citizenship and academic excellence by providing free after school & low-cost summer programs for boys and girls in grades 3-12.

Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me is a comedy news quiz/trivia show on NPR that I’ve been a fan of for over 20 years. Every week they bring on a famous person and ask them questions about things they don’t know about, it’s a segment called “Not My Job.” This week’s guest was the one and only Doug Jones!! This link is just to his portion of the show if you don’t feel like listening to the whole thing (though I highly recommend it, it’s always hilarious!)
