Craig Belknap’s Acting and Writing Workshops Fall 2014 The Acting Workshop will once again concentrate on scene study, improvisation (jumps), and audition techniques. This fall there will be two sections. One section will meet Sundays from 1 to 4 pm and the other Monday nights from 7 to 10 pm beginning September 7/8. The Writing Workshop will continue to be an open forum concentrating on new works and works in progress brought in by the writers. Poetry, novels, plays, screenplays, musicals, short stories, autobiographies are all currently being worked on. The Writing Workshop will meet Saturday mornings from 10 am to 1 pm beginning September 6. Each workshop is limited to 12 participants. The cost for a workshop is $540.00 for 12 weeks. There will be no refunds for missed workshops. The full amount is due up front unless an arrangement has been made with Craig. If you are new to the workshops an audition/interview or writing samples are required. Also note homework and/or rehearsals are required in both workshops. The workshops are held in Silverlake: 1526 Angelus Avenue. The Intensive Workshop in Italy is now set for September 2015. Each workshop is limited to 12 participants. The cost for a workshop is $540. for 12 weeks. There will be no refunds for missed workshops. The full amount is due up front unless an arrangement has been made with Craig.
