TACY SAMI - THE SAME (English Translation)
Every day we keep serving each other
So much evil and so much hatred
By feeding yourself the joy of sneering
You’re building your power
And so it goes, brick by brick new walls
New laws and new conflicts
Because the only way to the top
Is the good old chaos
And we’re all still the same
Hardened to the core
The war of words keeps hurting us each day
Like a sharpened blade
No respect for each other
Indifferent to tears
All means to an end
We’re making our selfish dreams come true
So much pain, so much pain and envy
You’re praying for your plan to come alive
Good God will help you to exterminate whatever’s different
How many more people need to live in hiding
How many more children will end their lives today
Because they cannot choose their skin colour or whom they love
And we’re all still the same
Hardened to the core
The war of words keeps hurting us each day
Like a sharpened blade
No respect for each other
Indifferent to tears
All means to an end
We’re making our selfish dreams come true
And we’re all still the same...
