This private estate in South Pasadena is simply gorgeous, and did not require much to enhance the space so we simply decorated the outdoor area with some floral and decor. Our client decided to use the existing patio furniture so we layered a few Turkish rugs on the floor, accented the space with pillows, draped a few cable knit blankets over the patio sofa, and added white rattan lanterns to tie in the look. For the floral elements, we created long and low succulent arrangements in variations of greens, and soft hues of pinks. Up above, we hung wisterias with firefly lights on the wooden beams of the existing pergola so Sofie and her friends can celebrate and watch movies under the stars on a beautiful, warm summer night!

The vibe was playful, feminine, and romantic. Just like Sofie’s personality!

Reunited (with floral production) and it feels SO GOOD! Being surrounded by flowers in our studio is a mood changer!!! Everything from the smell, to the colors, and to be able to watch each flower open up has reconfirmed that flower is our and my jam!

Hey flower friends!!! Thank you for being on this journey with us, just wanted to pop in to say “Hi, Hello, 안녕, hola, shalom, namaste, mahalo...!” and I get to learn “hello” in many other languages, will you teach me? Hope you are all doing better today than yesterday or a week ago.

Personally, it was tough when the flower market closed and I felt A LOT of sadness... BUT a good friend once told me “it’s really about how you bounce back”. Of course we are all allowed to be in our experience, and I totally was. I was binge watching korean drama (Crash landing for you) on @netflix and pretty much vegged around with my unwashed hairbun and sweats. What worked for me was when I decided to participate in @deepakchopra 21 day abundance practice which consisted of daily meditation, journaling, and reflecting. Thanks @kathylbenson for having me in your group, you transformed my life (again). It’s been helpful with processing all the emotions and bouncing back with an abundant mindset. It also supports that the flower market has officially reopened, and we can prepare flowers for Mom’s!!! 🌸
