We bring indigenous African history and culture right to your neighborhood. If you cannot go to Africa, we bring Africa to you! We plan and organize Kente Cloth Festival, art and craft market fairs, seminars, and workshops. Kente weaving demonstrations, online exhibitions, and other African related events are available for communities, universities, and colleges. Mission: African Design Concepts, Inc. seeks to create an institutional and environmental structure that provides an opportunity for introducing the diverse cultures of the Africa continent to the North Americans and other people around the globe. The organization currently has exceptional cultural accomplishments in United State. It is aimed at informal cultural education of both Africans and non-Africans in the world. The organization, the membership of which is open to all, shall seek, through programs and activities, to introduce and propagate the cultures of the continent of Africa. These programs and activities would essentially encompass cloth design and weaving, clothing and dress style, music, song and dance, food and cuisine, crafts and many other rich aspects of these cultures, as poetry and story telling.
