Howdy. Well it looks like were gonna be having rain during practice tonight. We're gonna schedule some dates after the last show to make up for buckle points.

Buckle Points!!

To earn a buckle this year the rules are

1) Must attend at least 1 Show
2) Must attend at least 4 Practices
3) Have a total combined point total of 10 or higher

To read the chart below:

1) If your name is highlighted Green - You have earned a buckle this season
2) If your name is highlighted Yellow - You haven't yet earned a buckle but there are enough practices and a show left to earn the total points
3) If your name is highlighted in Red - there aren't enough practices or shows for you to meet the requisite number of practices & shows to qualify for the buckle.

Points are awarded like this

1) 1 Pt for attending a Practice
2) 1 Pt for attending a Show
3) 3 Pt for placing 1st in your division at a show
4) 2 Pt for placing 2nd in your division at a show
5) 1 Pt for placing 3rd in your division at a show

Here is the Draw for tomorrow's Barrel Race!!

1) Please bring exact change Cash or check payable to D&M Cattle Company to pay based on the invoice that was emailed yesterday.

2) Please arrive early enough to be tacked and warmed up and ready to start at your time slot. We will be calling the exhibitions right at the start time.

We are set up to start registering for Sundays Show

Same as before, 1 hr 15 min time blocks. Starting at 8 am! There are only 10 slots per block so make sure an get signed up.

Each rider and horse needs to sign up individually and tell us in the notes what classes you want to run and how many exhibition runs you want.

There is a high likely hood of rain throughout the week that may cause the arena to be flooded. So we will not be sending out invoices till Saturday, in case we have to cancel again.

Riders!!

Well we were all ready to go for tomorrow....and then it rained...

It rained so much the last few days and today at the farm that the arena is flooded and we won't be able to run tomorrow.

We will have to cancel tomorrow's show. If you already signed up and paid, I have sent you an email about the cancellation and you will receive a refund. We will be processing the refunds tonight.

If you haven't signed up for the show on Saturday. You have till Friday at 5 pm to sign up.

Tomorrow I will be sending out an email to everyone that registered with specific details about when to arrive and be ready to run.

Also we have sent a PayPal invoice to everyone who has already registered so please make sure and get that paid before Saturday.

Until further notice we have amended our procedures in response to the Covid-19 Public Health Crisis. We are resuming barrel racing practice sessions beginning June 9th, 2020 at 6:00pm. We ask for your patience as we may make changes to the format in future sessions.

Riders!!! Practice is on tonight. We have some openings in the 6pm Slot and the 7pm Slot.

Please make sure that when you sign up, that each rider is signed up separately. Do not register anyone more than once.

The sign up record is how I assign buckle points. So if you sign up in two spots and someone else rides in your spot they will not get points!! Only the registered rider will get the practice point.
