Dear Piano Teachers: I hope you are all doing well in this challenging time. On February 15th, I launched a podcast: For Piano Teachers. New Episodes will be available on the 1st and 15th of each month. Each podcast includes a pdf Outline for use while listening and for your future reference. The link to the pdf is in the Podcast Description. Having taught university piano majors and piano pedagogy courses for over 3 decades, I'm looking forward to sharing my ideas, experiences and research. Episode 1: Priorities and Perspectives Link: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1604875/episodes/7788109 Thank you and best wishes, Edmund Dawe

Learn To Play Professional Conga Drums AT
Hello! As a composer and arranger with over 30 years of experience, I would like to share a unique system I have developed for beginner students of all ages 🎶🎺🎼🎷 Pro-Play Duets allows beginner level band students the opportunity to play along with professional musicians. Each music selection has been composed and arranged by myself. There are 5 duets for each instrument that include parts 1 & 2 with backing tracks and piano accompaniment for 10 different woodwind and brass instruments. This duet series helps the student with role modelling, improves intonation and reading abilities with syncopation. The duets are also key compatible for all 10 instruments. In addition, students can use the piano accompaniment for an acoustic performance. Having the ability to utilize voice commands with Siri, Alexa and Google Music takes practicing to a new level and makes it more enjoyable. See video link below that demonstrates how this works 😊 The Pro-Play Duet series (formerly Practice Pal) has been recommended by The Canadian Music Educators' Association. Intermediate level coming soon!
Hi everyone - See if you can make this fabulous workshop on Saturday with Melanie Demore! There is a special student price - $22.50. https://www.facebook.com/events/700387530339770/
Accomplished composer and Virtual Choir creator Eric Whitacre says, “Nothing builds empathy, compassion and community like making music together. Nothing. It should be required at every grade level.” What are your thoughts?
Ok, Angela, please check your messages for the explanation for the post on this page which was totally accidental.
