Congrats to our student friends at Occidental College making moves developing entrepreneurial programs! Oxypreneurship is now hosting a summer accelerator program with Caltech Entrepreneurship Club and StartEngine!

Caltech's Entrepreneurship Club has joined with Occidental College's Oxypreneurship and Howard Marks of StartEngine to create a 10 week summer program at a local startup accelerator. Students from both schools will pitch ideas for companies they want to start 7:30-9:00pm April 11 at Occidental in Swan Dumke West, then form teams around common interests, and apply.

Accepted teams will have summer office space at StartEngine's downtown LA site, receive guidance from StartEngine's extensive mentor network, and access to many other resources. Student teams will leave the accelerator with a company they founded and StartEngine helped grow.

The Pasadena Innovation Council and Caltech Entrepreneurs Forum present an event with Brad Feld, a titan in the world of venture capital and start-up thinking. Brad is the founder of Foundry Group (prominent VC based in Boulder CO) and TechStars, as well as a prolific author with 5 books including hits like "Do More Faster" and most recently "Start-up Life."
