Jazzy Jam 4 Kidz is proud to announce the 5th Annual Education for Empowerment Jazz Festival – JAZZY JAM 2014 in collaboration City of Pasadena.

JAZZY JAM 2014 will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 8:00a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Central Park in Old Pasadena. This year’s benefit concert is being expanded to include a family oriented showcase and festival featuring arts and crafts, live performance, vendor booths, cooking displays and fun for the entire family followed by the Jazzy Jam benefit concert featuring live musical performances showcasing best in contemporary and traditional Jazz, Blues, R&B, Latin/Salsa and Afro-Cuban music on the scene today. Proceeds from the event will support children and youth served by Jazzy jam 4 Kidz and the Pasadena Arts Council. Festival-goers are encouraged to bring blankets, and/or low beach/lawn chairs. Plenty of food and beverages will be available for purchase. *Parking Information: Plenty of parking is available; metered spaces and public parking lots (prices vary) are conveniently located throughout Old Pasadena and within walking distance. The Del Mar Gold Line Station is the closest paid parking lot, directly across from Central Park, north of Del Mar on Raymond, 230 S. Raymond Ave.

Mission: To generate interest and support for area arts, empowerment and educational programs to benefit deserving youth in the Pasadena Unified School District and support for core programming of Jazzy Jam 4 Kidz.

The “2014 Jazzy Jam Benefit Concert” and “Jazzy Jam Fun in the Sun day” festivities have been postponed.
We are devastated to have to postpone these upcoming events as we have been working hard behind the scenes to bring you this day-long festival. The show will now be held in Spring 2015 and will be even bigger than previously imagined!
Tickets purchased for the “Jazzy Jam benefit Concert” will be honored on the rescheduled date TBD. If you are not certain that you can make it to the program and you’ve already purchased tickets through our online vendor, tickets can be refunded through the original point of purchase starting on Monday, May 12th. The credit card that was used in the initial purchase will be required to receive a refund.

In the spirit of music, art, great food and fun, come mix and mingle with fellow jazz lovers and experience Motown Monday with Corney Mims & the Knowitallz at our upcoming fundraiser on Monday November 11th, 2013. Proceeds will benefit Jazzy Jam 4 Kidz, a Pasadena- based nonprofit which will be holding the 5th Annual Jazzy Jam concert on Saturday, May 24th, 2014 at Pasadena’s Central Park.

Donations for this fundraiser are $25, $40 & $100 and includes live music, hors d'oeuvres, drinks and a chance to win one of several raffle prizes. Donations to Jazzy Jam 4 Kidz are tax-deductible under.
