Our friends at FolkWorks are putting on a Festival (FolkWorks Folk Roots Festival) coming up in one week with many of our artists from the Pasadena Pavilion stage. "Los Angeles is a city that defines the image of American pop culture, strong and loud and imitated throughout the world. Yet, in the midst of the glitz and noise, there is a softer voice rooted in people getting together to sing, play, dance and tell stories. We are the living communities of the folk and traditional arts fueled by the energy of Los Angeles' vibrant and culturally diverse population.... FolkWorks provides an alternative voice for the folk/roots/trad music, dance and related folk arts – vibrant, culturally diverse communities of Southern California, often overlooked by the popular media."

Tonight! Dustbowl Revival! Thank you to LA Weekly for the great shout out!
http://www.laweekly.com/event/the-dustbowl-revival-8415367

The Dustbowl Revival have often lived up to the “revival” part of their name with a deft but clearly retro-minded approach that has swung back and forth from jazz and pop to various rootsy strains of blues and country. They’re still grounded in the past on their new, eponymous album, but this time t...

Are there any concerts in Memorial Park tomorrow, 6/29/19? We've moved to Lake Arrowhead for the summer but will be in Pasadena again tomorrow and thought it would be fun to come to a concert. Can't find a schedule anywhere.
Used to attend the concerts when Levitt ran the show and marvel at how such an island of cultural generosity could exist in the ocean of crass California consumerism. Turns out it couldn't, apparently. Way to go, Pasadena.😔
What is the concert schedule for summer 2019?
nothing happening this summmer big disappointment
Bunches of comments with no response. Does anybody manage this page? It’s fine if you need the summer off to regroup but don’t leave us in the dark! We miss your kids nights mad can’t wait for you to be on your feet again.
Are there going to be any concerts this Summer or is the Levitt dead?
Just saw this article.. wishing the new organization good luck and hopefully will get to see some shows this year!
What is your summer concert schedule?
This place was/is important
I am sorry to see the Levitt Pasadena summer concert series is no more. My wife and I so much enjoyed summer music in the park.
Hmmm.. Still no event posting at the end of June. I fear we have lost another great public event series.
Any concerts planned for summer 2018? I can't find a schedule.
